How many days at Sea?

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Allure of the Seas

The ports changed due to weather and high winds kept us at sea for extra days. We were sad to miss ports that were going to be new destinations, but happy that the captain kept us in safe waters. There were many activities on board for children, including a carousel, zip-line, flow riders, mini golf, meet and greet with Dreamworks characters... too many to lists. We did not travel with children. ...

Our favorite ship does not disappoint

We chose the Allure because it combines all the things that make a cruise a memorable experience. The most important and enjoyable experience was with the entertainment on the ship. Mamma Mia is a delight to watch. The songs of Abba are joyous and melodic. The Ice Show was beautifully choreographed and performed by talented skaters. Disco inferno and the 60's show in the Promenade were fun. ...

It was our first time on the Allure of the Seas. The ship is gorgeous.

I was desappointed by the fact we need to wake up earlier in the morning to have some great place at the pool. You should not authorize people to reserve chair for a long time. Also, the dress for many people at the dining room were not appropriated. Wearing short and t-skirt for the evening should not be permitted. Royal Carribean should be more strict on that. I have made 7 Royal Carribean ...

Overall, we had a fantastic week. Allure of the Seas had activities for everyone. The boat is amazing. Embarkation - We were impressed with how quickly we were onboard. It was less than 15 minutes from the time we got to the port to setting foot on the Allure. Cabin - Since we were traveling with our 6 year old, we chose a Junior Suite for the extra space. The room was amazing and ...

First and last time on Allure of the Seas

From the standpoint of someone with a disability, the AotS was the best accessible ship I’ve ever sailed on. All the public doors were automatic allowing me easy access all over the ship. All the public restrooms also had a push button door opener, and inside the restrooms is a private accessible bathroom with sink inside. I really appreciated this as it can be difficult to maneuver into an ...

Perfect Dinner at Chops Grill

Our last night of our 7 day cruise we splurged and ate dinner at Chops Grill in Central Park. This absolutely was one of the best meals I have ever eaten in my life. Normally I do not eat steak but my wife wanted to try this out. We both had lobster and steak. This was the best prepared I have ever eaten. Sitting outside in the courtyard, twinkle lights around with a musician playing just made ...

Great ship, way too crowded

We cruised with friends so I did not choose the ship. I had never been on a ship this large and imo it was way too crowded. My main complaint was the food in the Windjammer. It was absolutely horrible. One of the reasons I cruise most frequently with RCI is the quality and variety of their buffet, in the past it has far surpassed every other cruise line. Windjammer was just awful - horrible ...

Royal Caribbean Cruise line goes above and beyond to provide you with an excellent cruising experience, has superb staff, outstanding entertainment and the best food and service. Safety was a major factor in the decisions made by the captain and his crew. The entire goal and focus of the entire staff was directed to making my experience the most memorable. Despite having the itinerary completely changed due to a storm, we had an AMAZING time on this ship. So many times we completely forgot we were on a ship, that's how huge it is. We spent almost all of our time on board and had so much to do. Just walking around is an experience on Allure. The staff was friendly and courteous. The food was delicious in every venue we visited. We loved the variety ...

We traveled on Allure of the Seas (3/4/2018) and I read review after review before we boarded looking for tips so I'll try to be as helpful as others were to me! We traveled with 22 family members total (3 Families with children, Nana & Papaw, Auntie, and one set of in-laws). Children's ages: 9, 5, 4, 4, 3, 2, 1, 6mo .... yes, take that in for a moment. TIP: DO NOT (Especially with a group) ...
