I have been on Royal Caribbean several times before but never on a ship the size of the Allure of the Seas. If you are used to smaller ships, it can take a day or two to transition to a ship that holds over 6,000 passengers, as the initial flood of people on the first day can make activities and meals challenging, but it is well worth it.
One area where I have to give Royal Caribbean credit is ...
The pros- Royal App- do your registration via the app, so easy and it got us priority boarding, spent less than 5-10 minutes at the port and we were on the boat.
-Multiple swimming pools and we always seemed to be able to find a chair or two even on sea days. Cruising days best time is late afternoon and early evening to avoid crowds.
- Bar service was generally quick, lots of drinks to ...
Although I'm just getting around to writing this review, my family and I are avid cruise lovers. When we sailed on Allure last August, it was our 3rd cruise in a row, and each was on a different Oasis Class ship. In 2016 we sailed on Oasis, and 2017 we were on Harmony. For both of those cruises we had different ports of call, and stayed in a balcony stateroom. This cruise on Allure went to the ...
I’ve been cruising for the past 20 years with several cruise lines and RCL is on top of my list as the best cruising experience. “Oasis of the Seas” has been th best cruise I’ve ever had by far. Allure, the sister ship was great. We really enjoyed all the entertainment shows such as Mama Mia, Headliners, Blue Planet, OceanAria, Ice games, Comedy shows to name a few. The Children Adventures club ...
I have cruised for many many years and have always been loyal to Royal, but their customer service has dipped quite a bit. Overall, many staff are still very energetic and friendly, but the wait staff are no longer friendly as the amount of drink packages have increased and that diminished their individual tipping, so they just don’t care anymore. The Casino staff, especially the dealers have ZERO ...
What a fantastic ship and fantastic cruise vacation. We had 2 adjoining central park balcony cabins. One for my wife and I and the other for our kids ages 21, 18 and 16. We were selected for expedited check in which went relatively smoothly and we were on the ship soon after arrival. Our cabin was big enough with adequate storage. We loved the Central Park balconies as we had a lovely view ...
The Allure of the Seas has THE best entertainment and crew... Me and the family felt so comfortable and just down right spoiled... Very beautiful ship... Very clean... And our cabin always smelled good... Top notch Broadway show... Mama Mia was awesome!... The dinner each night was very good... And the waiters were very entertaining... Very classy dining room... The ship is very large and it was ...
We loved the atmosphere of Allure. Walking around this huge ship is exciting to say the least. Embarking was easy & got luggage qyickly. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Loved ALL the shows; they were Top Notch with many choices of times to see them all, but book them to be sure to get your favorite times especially ice skating. There is always something to do on this ship such as parades, ...
My husband and I choose this cruise because we had marvelous experience with Allure of the seas in a previous cruise. My husband does not wish board on any other cruise but on Royal Caribbean Cruise ships. Our first cruise on the Allure of the seas was to celebrate his birthday. This second cruise on board of the Allure of the seas was to celebrate our 10th year marriage anniversary. We enjoyed ...
This was our first cruise. Overall, the experience was amazing. We flew to Fort Lauderdale the day before and stayed at the Residence by Marriott on Anglers. The hotel was very nice and breakfast was included.
Here is what we loved about the cruise:
- Embarkation: from the time we stepped into the terminal to the time we we in the waiting area was less than 10 minutes. Very ...
