We took our 16-year-old grandson on the Dream, our first Carnival cruise, which sailed out of New Orleans on June 21. We drove down from Memphis the day before and stayed the night at the Holiday Inn Metairie Airport. Rooms are large and nice. Received a coupon for two drinks and two breakfasts with the package which included parking. Had dinner at Acme Seafood, which is close to the hotel and has ...
My husband and i just got home from our awesome cruise on the carnival dream! Thank you Carnival for such top quality service. I have never experienced fantastic customer service like you all distributed during our week stay on your ship. Over 4,500 guest on the ship and you make every guest feel like they are a top priority--i am still in awe as to how well you did that! Most important to us was ...
This was our sixth cruise on Carnival and must say we had some of the best service ever. Had my wife, 15 yr old daughter and 2 year old son. The Dream is a beautiful ship, but could really use some of the 2.0 upgrades. Overall a tremendous experience and you will not be disappointed with the big ship. Those of you considering faster to the fun...IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! One thing we found ...
We sailed out of New Orleans Louisiana on May 31st to June 7th. getting through the embarkation process only took 25 min. was the fastest time we ever had. We got on the ship and had a great selection of foof for lunch. Then the Rain started and never stopped. So we only went outside for a quick view of the ship leaving port which is always nice. Just wish we could have sat on the top deck for ...
I was Sooooooooo excited to go on my first cruise:) And left disappointed and confused why this is all this rave about cruises. The food was so terrible, that I was on Pep-to Bismol night 2. For the breakfast buffet, they pulled ham out of a water bucket...UGH! The best food I had was an omelet, hot dog, and the Steakhouse (which the Steakhouse was incredibly SLOW even with a reservation)! Night ...
Along with my two sisters, and a good friend, I boarded the Carnival Dream for an all girl week. It has been about 10 years since I was on a cruise ship, and I have never cruised the Caribbean before, so I was surprised, and disappointed, that we were on the Carnival "experience".
The sales pitches were unrelenting, the entertainment was high school-ish (with the one exception of Marcus ...
This was my third time on the Dream but first time sailing out of New Orleans. Fun port to sail out of we will definitely do this again!
The ship is one of my favorites and this cruise did not disappoint! The food was great at both dinning room and buffet. Breakfast had a nice selection at the buffet, we usually ate at the one at the very back of the ship and never had any wait. For lunch we ...
we looked around new Orleans a little before we set sail but did not do in depth exploring. boarding the ship went smoothly, but disembarkation was horrible. you had to leave your cabin by 7 a.m. and go to your assigned area and it was 9 a.m. before we could get in a very long line to start the process. the line to get through customs was overcrowded, we finally got out of the terminal at 11 a.m. ...
Just off Carnival Dream! Had 2 cove cabins 2404 and 2408! Opened the balcony between the two to make a bigger deck! My mom and a friend were in one, myself my husband and our 3 year old in the other! Plenty of room for 3 people!
What an awesome time we had! From beginning to end it was great! Cabin steward Karma was fantastic as well as our wait staff in Crimson Dinning Room lead by Cvetlina! ...
This was our 2nd Cruise & the Dream was to be the best cruise ever! After the safety meeting we went to our Balcony room 6415 that smelled of raw sewage. We immediately requested to be moved which was refused & until I became sick 2 days later did they finally move us. LONG lines everywhere you go. The Wok cooking took 1 hour & 45 minutes where 2 chefs manned 3 woks cooking for endless amounts of ...
