The Worst Cruise on the Worst Ship with a Crew with an Attitude

This was the only cruise we were able to find that fit into our granddaughter spring break. My husband and I have been cruising regularly over the past few years and have grown to enjoy each cruise on a variety of Cruise Lines. The Elation was the antithesis of every other cruise. Rather than being cramped, we chose to get two cabin. Each cabin had one(!!!!) electrical outlet. There was a ...

4 Day Cruise from Jax

We loved the boat and had a great time. The staff really made the difference for us. The housekeeping, dining and bar staff were always willing to help us and provide the best service. The ship is older than some of the newer Carnival ships but for the price paid and location (we live 30 minutes from the port), we couldn't think of a better 4 day get away from. We recommend planning your ...

Had a great Easter trip on this cruise. We traveled by taxi from Jacksonville airport to Jax port for $35. It was very easy transportation . As suite guests the express embarkation was a breeze. As always, the sail away party was great! We upgraded to the Grand suite a couple days before the trip. This room afforded us with a wonderful walk in closet , much larger balcony , bathroom ...

Love cruising, but....

We chose this cruise because we love to go to Half Moon Cay! Also we left from Jacksonville, FL which is convenient for us. We have cruised about 11 times, 10 of them on a Carnival ship, and this one by far was our worst. The food was terrible!!! We had to pay extra for steak. The filet was so tough and it was not even edible. The choices went down down every night! One night we decided to ...

We had a great time on the elation. This was our fourth cruise. We went with four other couples two of which were first time cruisers. They thoroughly enojoyed their time on the ship. The ship is a little dated, I would compare it to the old style vegas look. Staff was friendly and room steward was great (Harold). We stayed in an interior stateroom for this cruise and I was surprised that it was ...

Not great but worth what I paid

We decided to do a last minute vacation for my son's spring break. Carnival had a good price and the port was only a couple hours drive. Getting on the ship was easy and the staff was friendly. The cabin was a decent size and the bed was pretty comfy. There was a TV, but the resolution was not good. There was a variety of stations for viewing. The closet was a nice size and plenty of ...

I wanted to sail out of Jacksonville as I had not done so before and was lookig for a cruise to take my daughter in law for a quick cruise. I have cruised Carnival three other times and have done 42 cruises. Embarkation was delatedfor everyone until 1:30 due to having to get materials off the ship. This included people who paid for Faster to the Fun..This ship is severely worn. Our cabin looked ...

Worst Cruise Ever

I paid for the faster to the fun which was helpful in getting us on the ship quickly. The safety brief took over an hour 1/2 to complete and was not very helpful, just a lot of waiting around. We made the mistake of going during spring break and it was crowded with high school and college kids. That was my fault. The room R11 we had was spacious but the walls are very thin on this ship and it was ...

This cruise was taken so that my daughter could get a vacation during her spring break from teaching and take my granddaughter on her 1st cruise. It started out with a letter and a phone call message letting us know that boarding would be delayed due to loading of materials (upgrades are already started). We arrived at the port around 11am and the 1st guy told us to come back at 12:30pm. We ...
