We had an inside cabin for the first time, previously on other cruises we've always had a balcony. The cabin was ok, if a little cramped, but as usual with P&O there was plenty to do on the ship on sea days, and we spent a lot of time ... Read more

We wanted to complete Norway and the Northern Lights for sometime and after looking at various options we decided on a cruise aboard the Oriana would probably be the best solution. We are very independent travellers, and had some ... Read more

We booked this cruise as soon as it was offered, ie day one. This 'American Adventure' was P&O's first try at a 50 day UK to UK round trip, taking us to the Caribbean, Central America and the southern States, eg Florida, New Orleans ... Read more

We had a good drive down to the Mayflower Terminal and parked the car with no problem. Then the chaos started! The embarkation was shambolic to say the least. Things didnt get better as when it came to the lifeboat drill the ... Read more

The sea crossing across the Atlantic was far too long going via Tenerife as was the crossing coming home. A possible 6 day crossing was 11days both ways with roughish seas and cold weather. A roof over the pool would have made it nicer. ... Read more

The cruise was advertised as Christmas and New Year, but there was no atmosphere for either. The decorations looked as if they had been bought at Poundland not at all what we experienced on our previous Christmas Cruise to the Caribbean ... Read more

This was our sixth cruise with P&O. We are aged 61. I have to disagree with the negative reviews of this ship. I will try and provide the information that I found useful. We love the Oriana. Yes, it's an old ship, due for a re-fit next ... Read more

Embarkation at Southampton was a breeze taking less time to board than it did to find our cabin! From leaving the taxi to getting into our cabin was 20 minutes at most and our luggage was waiting at the door. The cabin (with balcony) ... Read more

This was a first 'taster' cruise with P&O to help me decide whether to book a longer cruise with them next year and also to find out how they compared with the likes of Celebrity, Fred Olsen and Holland America. I'm sorry to say ... Read more
