Excellent trip to see different areas of Italy and France!

We chose this cruise because of the stops it had. We also reviewed separate excursions to book to enhance our stops. We booked 2 tours with ItalyTours.eu 1 for Pompeii, Sorrento and Positano in Italy and then another one for the Best of the Franch Riveria in Cannes France. The tour in Italy was wonderful! What a fabulous tour!! Worth every penny! The driver was waiting for us as soon as we ...

The Epic is a good ship but can be crowded, this doesn't help with having the havens expedite elevator service blocking others from that lift. This was my second time on the epic and although I have had great service as always on Norwegian the entertainment on the epic seems to lack with the same shows from over a year ago. The ship was starting to show some wear but was still well maintained. The ...

I wanted to mark two things off my bucket list: Europe and cruise. Epic had studios a available which was perfect for me. Accommodations and food were 5 star. Entertainment was just OK. Best thing, in my opinion, was the string quartet. Couldn't get into the Beatles, Priscilla Queen of the Desert was bizarre, heard Cirque and Dueling Pianos were good. Burn The Floor was good and also odd. Dancing ...

Sailing with Limited Mobility

Overall we had a delightful experience aboard the Norwegian Epic. However a few things to keep in mind if you have limited mobility: 1 - Rent a travel scooter before coming - this will give you full mobility on and off the ship. 2 - Most of the excursions through the ship (even level 1) are not conducive for anyone with limited mobility 3 - Get a scooter that can collapse to keep ...

We chose this cruise for s girls trip for the itinerary which we enjoyed except for Palma Majorca. However when you unload over 4000 people you pretty much overload any port. Crowds on the ship and crowds in port were overwhelming. The noise level on this ship was unbearable. I’ve been on over 30 cruises and I’ve never experienced so much frustration with crowds, noise and lines of people for ...

High Points: Staff & Service were a great pleasure, everyone went above & beyond.. Dinning & Buffets were very good. Bars & Lounges were a pleasure. Activities available were good with many o;ptions to choose from. Day & Nignt Entertainment was Fair. The Premium seating for Circus delay was far from Premium service or seating. I Never did get 1 slice of Bread or a good view. Shame ...

Overall this was a fantastic trip. All of the ports were awesome with embarkation and disembarkation really smooth with the exception of Naples. Getting back onboard was a chore. The ship itself was awesome. I’ve cruised in the past and I often found myself with nothing to do, or entertainment that wasn’t entirely entertaining. Not the case with the Epic. The shows were fantastic and the ...

Never cruised before and didn't know what to expect. Norwegian EPIC was FABULOUS! From the kindness of our room attendant, on-board activities, shore excursions, attentiveness of employees ... it was just great. They made embarkation and disembarkation easy. Our room was maintained to the highest standards and anything we requested was given within minutes. The food choices were more than ...

Great itinerary, ship layout not for me! Embarkation was delivered smoothly and quickly. Level of service throughout the ship was good, with staff generally attentive. In service areas, I would say that there are dead zones, where if you are at a bar or restaurant in a location were staff serve up to, you are often overlooked because of an assumption that another member of staff is covering ...
