Celebrity has again surpassed all of my expectations. I have cruised more than 30 times and this was the best one ever. The reason for this is simple: absolutely every staff member did their utmost to ensure we had the penultimate cruise experience. They most certainly succeeded.

We had been on the Eclipse in its first year (2011), and fondly remembered it as a large ship that did not feel overwhelming. Since then, we have been on several other Solstice class ships, but found it to still maintain its charm and appeal. The drier to choose this cruise was the destinations.

We are frequent cruisers, especially after hurricane season, we chose to repeat the last season of Eclipse 2 week Southern Caribbean. Only negative was not checking air fares 1st, ended up paying almost double because of Thanksgiving weekend.
Same day flight with Choice Air worked out fine for us, we had an early welcome in Miami with no hold-ups boarding. 11 ish.

Ok, First we are not new to crusing. This was our 42 cruise and 5th with Celebrity. What we found was issues with the service overall. In the main dining room we only saw the waiters assistant only once on the final night of a 14 day cruise. The other times we had diner the food was often wrong and cool-cold. The itinerary was the reason we chose Celebrity. Staff very good, attentive and helpful.
Room steward the best we've had in all our cruises. Main dining room wait staff were excellent. Food was not as good as we've had on other cruises, especially at the buffet. I had breakfast in my cabin and the staff were very punctual.

Liked the itinerary. Very disappointed we didn’t stop in St. Lucia. I understand if we can’t dock due to repairs, but to deny us the port because they didn’t want to tender us is just wrong.
