We did a 2 night pre-cruise stay at the Embassy Suites in Ft. Lauderdale. Checking in at the front desk went quick, thanks to Kathleen. Our room was clean (no black mold as reported by previous guests) and comfortable. Enjoyed the free breakfast and the 5 o'clock cocktail hour. We booked this cruise during the Cyber sale, after Thanksgiving. It was a good deal and we were ready for a little down time. As I have found to be the usual for Holland America, the staff on the Eurodam are wonderful!
