This was the Mexican Riviera--Cabo, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta...January 4 out of Los Angeles (San Pedro).
Overall, a very nice cruise...
First, even though we live only an hour to an hour and a half from port (depending on traffic), we decided to drive down a day early and stay in San Pedro overnight...Parking at the pier has gone up to $19/day (if my info is correct) and we were able to ...
I want a getaway, after the holidays. By booking last minute, I was forced into anytime dining and hated it from the moment I walked on. The first night was the worst and they kept sending me to different dining rooms. The wait was going to be 90 minutes, so I was forced to the buffet. They did get a set table for me, for the next 6 nights. At 5 pm, but it was just in the anytime space. The ...
The beds and pillows are incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed deluxe balcony on deck 14 at the front of ship. The spa was wonderful. The Enclave experience was not worth the money. It was often buy and not kept clean. We enjoyed many hot stone spa massages and a deluxe mani/pedu. Shore excursions were awesome. We rode ATVs in Cabo, hiked and kayaked in Mazatlan, and also para-sailed off the ...
Our first cruise was on a Princess cruise and we loved every minute of it. This was prior to Carnival purchasing the cruise line. For this New Year's trip we decided to try a Princess trip again since we had never had a bad experience.
Embarkation and Disembarkation went very smoothly.
The ship was in very good condition.
Our cabin was very nice. A suite on the back of the boat that ...
Medallion has potential to be great parts of it are great like auto open doors of cabin when approaching , but it’s too complicated, didn’t work at all times and need to load multiple apps to make it work right, internet too slow. We love princess cruises but we like (ruby, golden, emerald design ships better) As usual food and service was exceptional and ship was very clean.
Shows and ...
This was a cruise of a life time for us. We cruised with our daughters and their families. So there were ten of us in 3 adjacent rooms. Grandkids ranged in age from 9 to 12 years. The steward removed the balcony barriers between rooms and our room had an inside door connecting us to one grandkids rooms. This was a 7 day cruise with port calls at Cabo, Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta. We were at sea ...
This was our 12th ocean cruise (Seabourn, Cunard, Celebrity, HAL, RC) and first on Princess. Our expectations for such a large ship during the New Years week were not real high and I am pleased to say Princess exceeded them by day 3.
The ship sparkles and everything works (except the Ocean Ready app). Embarkation was remarkably smooth given the passenger overload (3900+ with 600 kids). We ...
I was planning to have a beautiful Christmas vacation . Turn out the worst in my life very sad very disappointing .
Very dirty ship !!!! I was very scared for my health for one week . State rooms are filthy and stinks l. Shower is not working , garbage under the bed from previous passengers . When I checked in they lost my luggage for seven hours , no apology not even one word I guess ...
Our anniversary. Very disappointed with the ship and quality. Princess used to be our favorite after 10 cruises with them. Not planning to cruise with them again. Everything seems to have changed seems like only interest in nickel and dime you for amenities the gave in the past
Much prefer the older ships. Restaurant food was only average. If you asked for additional entree were charged ...
While this is only my first cruise I would have say I am disappointed in the overall experience. On arrival I had no idea on what to do or where to go. As a first time on a cruise, I would have thought there would be an orientation session to assist those who are first time on a cruise. Gratuity was automatically charged with no ability to decide on whether it was earned or not . To me ...
