Royal Caribbean unique itinerary

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

It was slightly less expensive and a unique itinerary. One of our party traveled with a rolling walker. At embarkation NO ONE let us know we could have checked our bags at the curb. We schlepped them up to the Windjammer buffet and back to our cabin. The room steward never came by to introduce himself. Communicating via sticky notes on the mirror served our needs. Food & service in the ...

We chose this crew because it was sailing to the Bahamas and would be docked there for a full two days. This is not their usual itinerary. Excellent food but dirty dishes left in all the hallways!

We did a "Travel with Alan" group tour (wouldn't recommend) and didn't care for the trays of dirty room service trays left morning, noon, and night in the hallways, as well as all the room cleaning carts, something my husband had to maneuver around post-knee surgery. Not something you see on Holland America cruise ships. Just not what I expected in a cruise line that you pay thousands of dollars ...

December 3-10, 2017- Liberty of the Seas let me down

I booked this cruise in March as my mother's last wishes. My daughter, grand daughters, husband and I were looking forward to it as I had just cruised the same ship in September and had a blast! What a disappointment. First the ports changed to just one due to ' scheduled maintenance' then we left Galveston late due to "divers having visibility issues during the repair" (repair???? what??? we ...

Better food but worse service than normal

This was our families 9th cruise and 3rd with RC (and second on the Liberty of the Seas). While we have a slight preference for Carnival, the price was just too good to pass up. We have been on enough cruises that everyone has a routine: I like to sleep, wife like to enjoy the gym and sauna, and kids like the kids club. On-boarding went amazingly smooth. We dropped the bags off at 11AM and were ...

Horrible Disembarkation

Guest Services Manager put a black mark on our cruise. Disembarkation was a joke. Unfortunately, seems this manager didn't know what he was doing. As we were self- assist, we went to the dining room on deck 4. As usual, passengers start lining up in front of the restaurant, just inside the outer door, then the line continued into the restaurant. The "Manager" told everyone (after passengers ...

I chose this cruise primarily to upgrade my Crown and Anchor points and also because the original itinerary had me visiting two ports that I have never visited in the past. Itinerary got changed due to scheduled ship maintenance, so we ended up with 4 full days at sea and two days in port at Nassau. Love Nassau, so that's wasn't an issue. 4 full days at sea got to be pretty boring with the same ...

Bad cruise experience but it wasn't RC's fault.

We just needed to get away. One port of call was Bahamas. Not interested. No matter how much precaution is offered by a cruise line (and it is a lot with RC) there is always a risk of contracting an intestinal virus. We really enjoyed our first night aboard! Unpacked, took a hot tub in the solarium, had some "private time" in the cabin before a first rate dinner. We had been assigned a table ...
