Beautiful common areas! Staff not attentive or interested in passengers

We have cruised carnival, holland, princess and norweign and wanted to try another. Went with another couple who also have cruised others. First timers for RCI. The common areas and promenade are beautiful. Ship layout of common areas is spectacur. Loved their 24/7 coffee shop on the promenade. Food was great to ok. Better than carnival esp the buffet choices. Rooms were dated compared to ...

This ship is awesome, but the service from the crew is what made our trip so great!I can't think of a single crew member that did not impress me with their smiles and personality. The design makes it easy to access all restaurants and entertainment venues. Our cabin was great, comfy beds, and plenty of space. The buffet was a buffet, decent for a quick bite, the dining room was pretty good with ...

We like LOS and Galveston. Best crew EVER! John Blair (CD), Karen Antoine (Exce Housekeeper) and Rodney Brown Walker (cabin attendant) were the best we have ever had on 20+ cruises. Entertainment was great, WJ was great, MDR was good, B&J Sweet was great, crew was everywhere greeting and mingling (probably making up for some of the things that have gone away). There was a 50's Rock group (I forgot ...

It was a great cruise. I am really impressed with RC and it is my third cruise with them. I like the ships, the itineraries, and the service. The food was mostly excellent but the variety has gone down in the MDR. We had a Jr suite which was wonderful with great cabin service from Sam of Indonesia. We spent a lot of time in the game room, and the ice show was wonderful. I could say many good ...

We booked the Liberty for a family cruise having sailed the same ship in spring 2015. We specifically selected the ship for the updated water slides and the existing family friendly features knowing that the upgrades had been to only specific areas and not a full dry dock. Unfortunately the second time was a disappointment for my husband and I. I will start with the positives. Our kids had a ...

We went on this cruise as a family vacation. There was 26 of us. The best part of the cruise was seeing Golda's smiling face every day. She took such good care of us. She is amazing at her job and made the cutest towel animals every day. If I couldn't find one of the kids, she always knew where they were. If you take this cruise I hope you are as lucky as we were to have such an amazing lady ...

Royal Caribbean doesn't keep it's promises. I'm Pinacle and should get on and off ships first.,but it took 2 hours to disembark while watching all self carry got off first..most of whom were not self carry and needed porters. I also think that Royal Caribbean has lost site of who has spent the most money with them..it is those that rent Owners Suites and go to the better restaurants on board.. ...

Ship was supposed to have been renovated but the carpet in our cabin hallway (and others) was stained as though there had been a flood. See photos. Other places on the ship were just not up to par with maintenance and cleanliness. Some were great though. Weird! Our cabin was fine. Size we expected with room to move around. Two closets made it extra nice! Safe was in one of the closets sideways ...

The Ports saved this cruise, but never from Texas again

Being from Canada, we had always sailed with Royal, out of Florida or San Juan, but this year we wanted to try something new, lets try Gavestone. We booked a shuttle at $100, but thanks to Air Canada, we missed all the shuttles and had to taxi it to our ship ($160). Them Embarking, was smooth enough once inside the port, the outside was a big mess and we were stuck in traffic for a while, but ...
