My cruise on Celebrity Equinox 4/7/18 cabin 2107

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

My main reason why I also choose Celebrity cruise is because there are very few children on board. We had concierge class cabin and this is the second time I’ve tried this class, however save your money and just get a balcony cabin because there is nothing special about concierge class. Are cabin attendant Aledo was excellent. He was always so pleasant for working as hard as he’s required. The ...

We stayed in Miami overnight before boarding Nice surprise to how quick and efficient the embarkation was ( disembarking was the same) The ship was spotless We stayed in an ocean view cabin (6143) didn’t disappoint great views especially when we went into port Food fantastic both in buffet and restaurant (Brian was our waiter - he was great and John had our drinks waiting for us) ...

We have been on over 25 cruises. Besides Celebrity, we have sailed with Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Holland, and Norwegian. Celebrity always wins hands down. This cruise was a one of the best, yet. The Staff was so helpful and friendly, the entertainment was excellent, and food amazing. The crowd on the ship was a great mix of young, old, and everything in between. We enjoyed the shows ...

5 stars, but...

I rated the cruise 5 stars and that's for the ship and the crew along with a bunch of great other things. The only negative two things I have to report is that the disembarkation was 40-45 minutes late, Celebrity reported that only 3 Custom Agents were furnished, I counted 5 when we eventually were allowed to leave and the Celebrity bus transfers to the Ft. Lauderdale airport was a mess and ...

Disappointing food and service

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

Our first Celebrity cruise was the last trip out of Miami on the Zenith before it was sold and service then was less than perfect so we cruised exclusively with Princess. We got a great deal on a Celebrity Equinox when it was repositioned to Miami last summer, so we decided to give them another try, unknown to us when we booked it was a Celebrity Presidents cruise and the itinerary, food and ...

Beautiful Ship, first time with Celebrity

This was our 13th cruise, first with Celebrity. We usually cruise with Royal or Princess. We booked this vacation for a low key spring break with our two teenagers, one balcony cabin and one interior. Despite some issues booking both cruise and air, using the Celebrity specialists, once on board the vacation was very nice and relaxing. The ship is beautiful and well maintained. There was ...

Way Exceeded Expectations

Embarkation was a breeze as we arrived early and got right on the ship. Food was great in MDR, Tuscan Grill and Murano. We enjoyed the Murano the most. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout the cruise. Five out of the seven shows at night were good. The Old and New San Juan tour provided by Celebrity consisted of getting in a van and driving around the streets of ...

Everything I was led to expect with Celebrity

I chose this cruise for a number of reasons. The itinerary. We've done all the intineries out of our home port of Galveston. It was a chance to see Miami, which we never had, and it was a chance to try an 'upgraded' cruise line. I got a really good deal on a Concierge stateroom so we went. and had a wonderful time. Were in Stateroom 1061 Concierge Balcony. very spacious and the attendant too ...

Some hits, some misses

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

First the hits: Philip and Okta in the 5th floor coffee shop were excellent. The staff in the kids club were enthusiastic and always engaged with the children. My kids loved the activities and were happy to go to the club. The specialty dining restaurants were worth the expense, although reservations were picked over quickly. The service in the main dining room was solid. Almost all of the ...

we had high hopes for this cruise but to be honest we wouldn't bother again there were lots of issues the biggest being the food the buffet was terrible i mean there was nothing worth eating the line at breakfast for eggs and omelettes was up to 20 minutes this is the worst buffet Ive been to on a ship by far we have been to better buffets at golden coral and that's the truth we bought a dining ...
