We chose this cruise because it was 11 days and went to New Orleans for three of them. Our ship docked right at River Walk and we were able to walk or take the trolley to so many attractions. Pure fun! The WW II Museum was fabulous. We've been on this ship before and enjoyed it. The service from top (officers) to bottom was great. All staff were very friendly and attentive. We rated ...
Been several times. Staff to mention: Dining room. Front of house Alexander. Waiters and wine waiter: Jon, Roger and semillion. Bar waiter in upper pool level bar (cant remember his name but he sang all the time)... Waiters in Martini bar. In fact, all staff. One thing I was dissapointed with is I bought a diamoind ring in the auction only to find out the diamond has a hairline fracture. I will ...
We were ready to revisit New Orleans and wanted to see Key West. On the seventh day of the cruise, I came down with a sore throat and coughing. There were many people we noticed coughing. When we returned home I had to go to the hospital ER and was diagnosed with Legenaires type Pneumonia in several spots in my lungs. My wife is also dealing with this same illness. This was our 14th cruise.

Just returned from an 11 night cruise on the Equinox. Choose this one because we wanted to go to Key West and New Orleans, as we had never been there. It turned out to be the best vacation we ever had. This ship and its staff are the best. Highly efficient and bend over backwards to help you. The food was a good variety and delicious. Always served hot and fresh. The bar service was great ...
The jazz cruise with three days in New Orleans was very enjoyable. Regular main dining room food generally was excellent. Ship's staff were friendly, professional and out and about throughout the ship. However, Celebrity's continued cutbacks were noticeable. Celebrity completely eliminated the publication of hard-copy daily news summaries (the daily USA, French, Germain, Spanish, British, etc.) ...
We chose this cruise due to the Itinerary in the first place, and were glad we did. The ship is the best we have been on, beating both Royal Caribbean and Princess. The ship is a nice size, not too big not too small, carrying just under 300 guests. We have sailed on bigger ships and feel the food suffers due to there being too many onboard.
The ship is well laid out and plenty of things to see ...
Surprises & pleased to see Captain Kate McCue! She is such a terrific marketing tool - she is so personal & interactive with the staff & passengers. We loved the Equinox - it was our 3rd time onboard. The ship personnel were excellent, food was plentiful, loved Cafe al Bacio, embarkation & disembarkation went very smoothly.
Outstanding crew members:
Oyda* (cabin steward)
Oz* (He would ...
Be assured this ship and cruise line must be one of the best if not the best. We have just returned from two weeks on the Equinox and we are of the opinion that this trip was perfect in every detail . Food 5 star at every meal. Staff were so attentive and helpful , ship was superb , we genuinely found no fault with anything. We will certainly like to return. Entertainment was unbelievable with all ...
SHIP
This is our second trip on the Equinox (for our first impressions refer to our Ultimate Caribbean report in 2013).
EMBARKATION
This was very efficient and stress-free. Our flight left Toronto a little after 06:00, and we were enjoying lunch in the Ocean View Cafe at 12:30! Transfer from Miami Airport was fast and efficient, and the cruise check-in was very smooth. Celebrity has ...
This is more a query than a review - although suffice it to say that we had a wonderful cruise in every way and cannot wait to try the other ships/cruises by Celebrity. We booked Concierge with drinks package included.
The entertainment, stateroom, food, service and cleanliness were outstanding - as were the staff. We had Captain Kate who was wonderful and never too busy to have a friendly ...
