We sailed on the Equinox before and like the layout of the ship, it is easy to find your way around. We purchased Concierge level cabin and it was a good decision. We had easy priority boarding as well as departing the ship.
Really Good Things:
SUNSET BAR: We especially like the Sunset bar with the grassy area. What a treat to have a cocktail and a cigar in the evenings. The bartenders ...
We wish to compare the two suite class ships, Equinox and RCL Allure. We sailed in cabin #1663 S1 300/57 sq ft on Equinox, and on RCL Allure 7-15-18 cabin #14644 OS 556/243, though bigger only used 2/3 of balcony.Comparing the suite options.Found the food which had been very good in the Coastal Kitchen one year ago same ship same time, not as good this year. Same breakfast lunch menu every day on ...
After returning from a superb week on the Equinox, I am amazed at any negative review from other Cruise Critic members. Some negative reviews mention the crowds at embarkation, the pool bar, buffet and pool; however, crowds should be expected if you travel on a late June cruise! Also, I liked the way ALL passengers were treated well despite their stateroom price or number of previous Celebrity ...
My girlfriend and I had been looking forward to the cruise for months. Suffice it to say, we were not disappointed! Will definitely book Celebrity again for my next adults only cruise (adults only in terms of just my girlfriend and I)!
We stayed the night before in Boynton Beach - less than an hour's drive to Miami. Rather than paying the exorbitant port parking rate of $27.00/day, we chose ...
Wife and I wanted to try a new cruise line since we have had several cruises with NCL,Carnival and RC.
We like this itinerary to Key West a port we have yet been too and met our timeframe for a June cruise. We also bought into the awards Celebrity has incurred with cruisecritic as a top line.
Not to many kids on the ship mostly crowds of over 50.
Pros- service number 1. Room Stewart each ...
Celebrity Equinox had excellent food and service. I had dinner every night in the dining room. All my tablemates and I agreed the food was fantastic every night. I saw no reason to go to the specialty restaurants as the food was so good. Service was excellent, too. Even the buffets were very good with a huge variety of food. There was an excellent female singer at the pool and almost nightly ...
We just returned from the 16th June sailing on the Equinox to the western Caribbean. The cruise was a birthday present for my older (and mentally disabled) brother.
Our experience was outstanding! A few highlights:
* Kudos to Alyson at the the Celebrity special needs desk! We had expedited boarding because of my brother's anxiety in crowds. From entering the terminal building to walking ...
This was my 5th cruise and 2nd on Celebrity. I would like to thank everyone on board including my stateroom attendant Gede, my restaurant waiter Suliana and waitress Alina for providing an impeccable service and attention. The ship is absolutely beautiful. This time I chose an Aqua Class cabin with the balcony and let me say this, it is such a big difference from my previous sailings in interior ...
Ship really nice ship, restaurants on deck 5, entertainment and shopping on deck 4,5
sky lounge on deck 14 is pretty.
Food 5*****
Ocean view Cafe = amazing buffet and snacks all day.
Mast Grill = Best burgers on sea, hot dogs are better than downtown Toronto.
Blu = the staff was very cheering and food a great selection. Cabin of Aqua Class made sense, specially if you love to do ...
We are veteran cruisers, primarily on Princess. We’ve cruised on Cunard and RCCL, too - but Princess has been our favorite.
Our travel agent got us a great deal in AquaClass (HA cabin) and we thought we’d give it a try.
We arrived at the terminal around 11 and were on the ship by 11:30 (given my DH’s mobility issues, that was fast!). Very efficient staff at the terminal, everyone warm and ...
