Because we wanted to see Aruba but in fact we found that Key West was even more nice. It was nice with 5 stops during the journey but I had appreciated even 2 more stops while we were 10 nights at the ship. Some islands like Aruba could have a longer stay. The breakfasts and lunches on board were excellent. We had drinks included in our stay and it saved some time for us. However it was very ...
I have sailed on Celebrity once before and this second sailing has confirmed my delight with Celebrity making Celebrity my most favorite cruise line. First sailing was on the Reflection, second on the Equinox. Both ships are spectacularly beautiful although the Reflection is slightly nicer! Celebrity has discovered the secret to great personal service and attention to the passengers. I am hard ...
This was our 25th cruise and the 7th on Celebrity - first time on Equinox. I fully expected another 5 star experience but sadly did not get it. I will say for the most part the crew is great and they did their best and we still had a good time but there were just to many things that went wrong to make this a "great" cruise.
Day 1 Embarkation
Celebrity now shows a very silly - Carnival ...
We booked this cruise as part of a group of 7. This was to celebrate 3 people's birthday and reunite with old friends. We couldn't have picked a better cruise or ship! Everyone enjoyed the cruise with very few complaints.
Embarkation was a breeze. We were a bit delayed due to a coast guard inspection but it was a short delay. We were on the ship by 11:30.
The ship was beautiful. There ...
Loved the cruise! Was a bit worried about the Equinox as it is near “revolution” time but it was in great shape. Couldn’t tell it’s been around for as long as it has. This was our 3rdsailing on her and just as good as the first.
This was a 10 night Southern Caribbean sail on October 5 which included Grand Cayman, Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire and Key West. It was our first time to the ABC’s. We ...
we just finished a 10 day ABC cruise, our first with this line. we have completed now 20 cruises with HA, RCI, To say Celebrity are premium brand cruise line is a stretch at best., we booked an AQUA class room (1550). we were late boarding due to an inspection, the terminal building was jammed packed and poor staff seemed overwhelmed.
the ship is old and in need a major face lift, maybe they ...
Ship in good condition generally although going in for refurbishment next year. Staff mostly excellent, however our cabin steward was inconsistent i.e. no toilet paper first day, no body lotion after asking 3X, had to ask for Beach towels on port days. Dining was excellent in all areas including Buffet, Mast Grill, MDR. Ate at sushi restaurant for dinner. OK, but not exceptional. Service in all ...
Having cruised Celebrity 4 times previously we talked our parents into there first cruise..We were really embaressed by what we had recommended to them throughout our cruise..They spent allot of there savings to come with us and I wish I could afford to reimburse them....we upgraded to concierge class and drinks package but found it to be the same size cabin as a balcony cabin only with bathrobes, ...
This was our 5th time on Celebrity in a Solstice class ship and in Aqua Class. We are a married couple, in our 40's, it has been five years since we last sailed with Celebrity (we were cruising with other lines) and things have definitely changed. We were very excited about this cruise even though the disembarkation was a mess last time we sailed with them, though the experience was exemplary. ...
We've never cruised before and thought why not for our anniversary. Of all the cruise lines, Celebrity seemed the best fit for us. We're a mid-40s couple with no kids. We like having fun but we're not into drunken bacchanalia. The Equinox was perfect for us.
We upgraded to a Celebrity suite so there was ample room in our cabin to spread out and relax. The balcony was spacious enough for ...
