Let me start my review by saying I have a special needs grandson and I love animals. There was a dog on board that the owners classified as a service dog. They let everyone pet even the restaurant staff while serving the other guest. The problem came when the staff didn't wash their hands after. The Solstice was a great ship to Alaska, food, service, entertainment,ports and staff. Unfortunately the boarding process in. Vancouver was terrible. This was our seventh Alaska Cruise, second on Celebrity.
