This cruise was basically a repositioning cruise. It went from Vancouver BC to Hawaii and then continued on to the South Pacific and Australia. Our cruise spent 5 days at sea and then another 5 days in the Hawaiian Islands. The ship itself was very clean, and it's a beautiful ship. We were initially in cabin 3126 but it had some kind of mechanical noise coming through the floor that sounded ...

A Beautiful Cruise

We wanted to see Hawaii and thought this would be the best way to go. Stayed at the L'Hermitage Hotel in Vancouver for 3 nights before our cruise--an elegant hotel within walking distance of many conveniences. Vancouver is a beautiful modern city, very clean and friendly. We rented bikes and rode around the sea wall in Stanley Park and the following day we went to Grouse Mountain. Embarkation was ...

This was our first time cruising with Celebrity and first time in Hawaii! Overall we really loved the cruise! We had five days at sea and loved the relaxing, slow paced days! We could be as busy or as not busy as we wanted... it was wonderful! We loved exploring Hawaii and we thought doing that via a cruise was awesome! It was nice being able to spend at least a day or two in each place and take ...

We booked the cruise because it departed from Seattle so we could catch up with relatives before the cruise. We loved Seattle, had a great time exploring the city,Pike market, restaurants and the surrounding areas i.e waterfalls, parks etc. We disembarked in Vancouver, stayed for 3 days, and from there went to Victoria, visited the Butchard garden which was so beautiful. You need 1 full day travel ...

I've wanted to cruise Alaska since I saw a commercial showing Glacier Bay and featuring the same booming, echoing voice used by MONSTER monstermonster truck ads not so long ago. Recently, I came into a decent sum of money allowing me to sail. I chose Celebrity Solstice due to its September prices in Alaska as opposed to its itinerary. Next time I hit Alaska, I'll likely go via an M class ship and ...

I've been on the Infinity a couple of times and also on other cruise lines, but this ship was new to me. Loved the food and service on this ship. Celebrity service is so warm and friendly, it's excellent. The food was plentiful and amazing. I loved the steaks served in the dinning room even though they weren't thick they were perfectly cooked and tender. Also the minute steaks served in the ...

This was our 2nd cruise to Alaska. We chose Celebrity this time because we never sailed this line before and the perks seemed good as well as a great price for Aqua Class. Also we were going to Skagway where we never went. What a true disappointment in cruise line. Check in was smooth however we got a brand new girl who was so slow we waited a good 20 minutes to be checked in and couldn't ...

My husband and I had been on many Caribbean cruises and enjoyed them all, but had never been to Alaska. Being in Texas, we were tired of the heat and wanted to cooler temperatures. We'd never been to Seattle, either, so we went a couple of days before the cruise to get to know the city. My husband found the perfect airbnb spot, right near Post Alley at the Pike Place Market. However, being from ...

This was our first cruise to Alaska. We arrived a day before and stayed in a hotel near the Seatac airport so that we could take advantage of the free shuttle. The shuttle driver recommended the Sharp's Roasthouse for dinner and even shuttled us there. We were not disappointed as it was a very good dinner. The next morning we were on to the pier. We took the shuttle back to the airport so that we ...

We arrived in Seattle on Thursday and met our traveling companions for dinner at The fisherman's. we highly recommend the Smoked Salmon Fettuccini. We have eaten there many times and its a must stop ant time we are in the Seattle area. I'm not sure what the fuss is regarding this cruise and the ship????? We had a great time. Embarkation was great, the ship is clean and well kept. Always ...
