Really enjoyed this cruise. Just got off the boat yesterday. They are now offering a free transfer your luggage program that was fantastic.. Also let my overweight luggage go without extra fees.
There is nothing I would change except for maybe the cruise singers and dancers. The singing wasn’t up to par and the first show opened with a strange number.
We did out excursions brought the ship ...
LOVED IT.
Fun, enjoyable, every day was so an adventure
Did not feel crowded, rooms were clean.
Our steward, Aron, was perfect. He anticipated everything we needed and he did so many extra things that made our return to our room after a long day enjoyable.
Daily activities were easy to find and there enough different activities to keep us busy.
Every crew member we came into ...
I had been asked by a group of friends to go on an Alaskan Cruise with them and I must say that I was apprehensive. As a seasoned traveler, I had always thought that I would not like to relinquish my "freedom" to a ship and a structured itinerary but I agreed and convinced my sister to be my roommate. Was I pleasantly surprised!!! The Pearl was awesome!! Getting on the ship was effortless with ...
My sister-in-law chose the cruise and invited all the siblings to come along. She used a travel agent, so we did too. If I were to cruise again, I think I would do the booking myself and wait until the last minute to get a better price. We had an inside cabin, which was ok, but very small. Plus it was set up to accommodate more than 2 people, so there was a bunk bed folded against the wall, which ...
We chose the Pearl because they were sailing at a time when it was convenient for our work schedule. I wish I would have done a little more investigating. If you want to drink you pay $89 a day for everyday per person, cant pick and choose when you drink, wi-fi $30 a day everyday per person. They charge to play on board games like bingo $40 bucks, really! I don't recommend this ship or ...
My wife and I have cruised more than 30 times. We have experienced the best that cruise life can offer. Unfortunately, our experience on Norwegian was quite disappointing.
Our cabin steward failed to make up our room on two occasions (7 night cruise) resulting in us having to seek him out to do even the bare basics such as making up the bed and obtaining fresh towels. I did speak with the ...
This was our first cruise. We are a family of 5 (kids 17, 15, and 11) and in laws. Our outside rooms were better than expected (balcony, inside and window). Food was decent in buffet and often good in sit down restauarants. There was plenty of variety. KIds didn't do kids club - they preferred communal activities offered on the ship. Rock wall was decent but bowling alley was a joke. Hubby and I ...
We chose this cruise because people had told us NCL was good. We were disappointed. The disappointment started right after we boarded. The bar staff was rude and condescending, we never met our steward and our first mean at OSheehans restaurant was not even edible. My artichoke dip had the consistency of soup!!
The ship itself was nice and clean and for the most part, the staff was friendly and ...
We chose Norwegian because we had cruised with them and the service and food were really good. Alaska May 2018. We had 3 mini suites, Cabin 11612, 11610, 11608. Three couples, one young adult and 3 kids ages 2, 6, and 9 years. We arrived a day early and stayed at Sutton Suites in Seattle. We took advantage of their cruise package where they pick you up from the airport, take you to the hotel, ...
Spent a week on the Pearl from Seattle to Seattle on the Inside Passage route.
Ship:
The Norwegian Pearl is a nice ship, but nothing really lept out as memorable about it. Clean, well maintained and friendly staff made for a smooth experience. Special kudoes to our butler (Lingling) and room stewards. Both did an amazing job
Cabin: Deluxe Owners Suite (Haven)--Deck 10
