We always wanted to go on a Panama Canal cruise, and the Nov 4-18 Pearl cruise provided the opportunity. We originally booked a mini suite, then we successfully bid on a 2 bedroom Haven suite. We absolutely enjoyed our Haven cabin (14008). It will be hard to enjoy cruising again after that experience. We loved our suite.
We want to commend and recognize our Haven concierge, Bruno. He was ...
I wanted to see the new Atlantic Bridge, and we had a good view from this ship.
Embarkation and disembarkation in Tampa each took two hours of standing in line with new chairs or benches available and workers trying to get us to crowd forward even though the line wasn’t moving.
Norwegian has the best rewards for previous cruisers, better than other cruise lines.
Cagneys the first time had ...
My wife and I were on this cruise. We are both 71, this was our thirteenth cruise, fourth Norwegian. Four Carnival and five Disney. We typically cruise from Port Canaveral when cruising from Florida. Otherwise we have sailed from Honolulu, Seattle and Seaward. Never had significant problems at any port except Tampa.Stood in line with my bad feet over two hours to embark (Coast Guard blah blah ...
I was disappointed on the countries we visited because the ship only took us to CARGO PORTS. We could no get to the city because it was too far. And the ports they stopped were surrounded by forest Trees it looked like the jungle. This is the worst NCL Cruise out of the 10 NCL Cruises I have taken in the past years. What I really enjoyed
Was the Restaurants and the food they served. Also the ...
The travel group in our community had set up a good deal for this cruise, and we are very pleased to have gone. A few of the ports we visited were less than wonderful and/or not interesting but others were great fun. Service on the boat was good overall, food was so-so (most of the meat dishes we ate in the dining room were overcooked and a bit tough but the appetizers were great and you could ...
This was my first cruise to Panama and Central America. I wanted to see the canal and the wildlife of the area. It was a rocky start to the cruise. Embarkation was a total nightmare.Anyone who was told to embark after 11am was left to stand for hours before even getting into the terminal. The reason given for the situation was that the ship had to undergo an inspection by the USCG since it was ...
This is our 10th cruise with ncl and we all noticed a change for the worse with regard to customer service, dining, activities and general ship maintenance. From embarkation, which was disorganized and had 2000 people standing room only without water or chairs for two plus hours, to disembarkation, also unorganized, we found the cruise lacking from previous times. We were a party of 5 and all ...
Amazing opportunity to cruise through the Panama Canal. Great job by everyone on board. The bartenders were oustanding as well as the waiters and maitredee. From the time we placed our feet on the deck until we left the crew made sure to create a wnderful experience. The loss of one of our shore excursions was made up by the great service from the staff. The entertainment was first class from ...
This was my 23rd cruise (mostly on NCL) and my 2nd cruise on the Pearl, and my background as a former Flight Attendant with American Airlines during the 70’s-90’s (back when it was Fun to fly and I had hair…) when I worked First Class, it provides a unique perspective. Our 1st cruise on the Pearl was to Alaska Labor Day week 2017. We booked this cruise shortly thereafter. I was also the CC ...
There was a lack of information provided prior to embarkation. Shortly after making the reservation, it was changed from a 15 day cruise to a 14 day and the embarkation port was moved from Los Angeles to San Diego because the Acapulco stop was cancelled. We understand that was for safety reasons, but there was no explanation for why we had to lose a day of vacation or had to alter plans to ...
