Took a bit to get over the decor. Not pretty. The ship is nice, the cabin was more than adequate. Inside, deck 1.
The entertainment was not good at all. The shows although they had good themes and possibilities, the singers with the exception of one girl... were awful. They tortured songs from the 50's to the 90's.

Choose this because of original itinerary . Eastern Caribbean - St Thomas, San Juan, Amber Cove and Grand Turk. Because of hurricanes Ended up with more of a Bahamas cruise- Nassau, Amber Cove, Grand Turk and was to be Half Moon Cay but that was changed to Freeport.

Carnival Splendor is an older ship and you can definitely tell. Well maintained and clean though. Food was hit and miss in the dining room. Elsewhere food was average.
