Room Temp TOO HOT!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Freedom

The only HUGE negative I can mention is that the room was way too hot. We contacted engineering and they refused to turn it down. I've been on over 20 cruises, and several with Carnival in the past and never had this problem. For this reason alone I will never cruise with them again. We spent way too much money for a family of 5 to be treated this way. The fan was barely blowing in the room. ...

This was our second time taking this cruise and we rate them both as excellent. The first was on my 50th birthday. This one was for my husband's son's wedding. The first cruise was on the Carnival Magic and this was the Carnival Freedom. Both cruises were outstanding! Food was great, service was great, excursions, great. The biggest difference between the two cruises was the cruise ...

The cruise was pretty good, overall. The ship was clean and the crew was top-notch, as usual. Any ship that has 2 Red Frog Rum bars on it aces in my book. The Blue Iguana made a pretty tasty burrito and Fish and Chips was not bad. Dinner in the main dining room was very good every night. The chef really outdid himself. I really enjoy Carnival for the atmosphere and can credit a majority of ...

This was our first cruise as we were waiting for our children (11,15) to get old enough to remember it and enjoy the port excursions. Our overall experience for first timers was great, but I do have a few negatives to report. First the positives: the kids loved having endless amounts of food (especially ice cream) and someone to make their bed up everyday. I loved that they could wonder the ship ...

We just got back from our fist cruise ever a 7 day Western Caribbean Cruise on the Carnival Freedom out of Galveston. We had a blast! Best service from all crew and staff. We had an interior room which was roomy and had everything we needed. Our steward was so wonderful in keeping our room perfect all the time. Besides spending time on the deck starring out at the beautiful views, my favorite ...

We chose this cruise for a tenth anniversary celebration, a month after. One of our favorite vacations was a trip to Key West and we were looking for a cruise that would take us there. My birthday was also the first day of the cruise. We could drive to Galveston more easily than flying to another port, so we chose this cruise for timing and locations. There was a storm in Galveston and so getting ...

My gf and I were convinced by another couple to go with them on our first cruise. I was hesitant at first but I'm glad we went. We stayed in a interior cabin room. At first I was a bit shocked on how small the cabins really were. But I quickly got used to it and we found ourselves in there to only shower and sleep. Everyone was super friendly. From the staff working the cruise to all the people we ...

My mom and I went on this cruise with my daughter and her husband. My daughter is in her mid-20's and in a wheelchair. So first, I want to write about her experiences. She found it difficult to navigate around the ship in the wheelchair. On our way to breakfast, the hallways were full of cleaning supplies and towels, and it was very hard to get down the hallways. But the very worst problem ...

My wife and I have done the Western Caribbean cruise many times, so decided to do an Eastern Caribbean one. She wanted to see Key West too so we booked out of Galveston. We live in New Orleans, so it was only a 6 hour drive. This was our first time on the Freedom and it was my 13th Carnival cruise. Things started out wet as there was flash flooding in Galveston when we arrived. We were ...
