Great ship, needs refurbed

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

RC has the best family ships. Oasis has the amenities but needs refurbed. By the pool in the afternoon is not the place to be. Same tired old regee music every afternoon. Too loud and boring. Take a page from Norwegian, DJ pop and dance. Do not waste your time on CATS. Joked with numerous other guests, when did you walk out? Other shows/music provides variety. Acoustic guitar and piano ...

This was chosen as a way to get the whole family together from around the world, 8 adults and 2 children. We were very happy eating in the dining room on level 3, we couldn't have asked for a better waiter or assistant waiter. Those two people treated us like family and made sure we had everything we could need. There are plenty of free dining options on board, some open 24hrs. We saw several ...

Royal Caribbean vs. Princess

Royal Caribbean (RC) vs. Princess (P) 1.Interior Stateroom- RC wins for size and decoration 2.Public Restrooms- P wins for cleanliness, especially mens restrooms 3.Dining- P wins hands down; RC offered more venues but included(complimentary) venues were limited and not up to par with what we've experienced on P. Display, Quality and Variety of food was just so much better on P. At times ...

Great cruise on the Oasis

This was a restful and FUN vacation. We slept great on our balcony stateroom queen/king bed and had a totally remarkable steward, Butch, to keep our room perfectfully. He must never sleep because each time we returned, he had been inside to tidy up. The Grand dining, main dining room, was lovely. Our food was delicious and could not have been better. The service from Kumarun our waiter and ...

Really pathetic experience and poor ship quality

Wasn't really expecting this quality from Royal Caribbean. Poor stateroom (Balcony), worn off carpets, smelly and musty, worn out. Stateroom is small, poor layout (my small 7 & 9 year couldn't fit in the pull out bed). Balcony was not cleaned, poor ship layout, all of the shows were poor quality except aqua. everything looks like you have to pay and felt like we were in a shopping mall with deals ...

Where do i begin. As we planned for the holidays for a 6 room trip with the family, we were pretty excited. Since day 1 nothing went as planned. We were all supposed to have anytime dining and they checked us in different times and didn't sit us at the dinner table together as a family. Secondly, one of our rooms was a complete disaster. The fire hydrant went off all over our bed, so instead of ...

We loved the Oasis of the Seas! The ship was beautiful and had a lot to offer. The entertainment was not what we expected and were very disappointed. We loved the ports of call and Labadee has to be our favorite! Embarkation and disembarkation was fine no real hiccups considering the number of people on the ship. We had a few issues with the photo department as far as the lab goes with ...

Wanted to try one of the big Royal Caribbean ships. Embarkation and debarkation were the best/easiest we have ever experienced. The staff and passengers throughout the week were all very friendly. The ship never felt crowded ever. There were so MANY activities to choose from throughout the day and evening. And plenty of quiet places day or night. One negative was the piano bar is positioned ...

My new favorite ship

Booked through our travel agent who got us a better deal than what we almost booked ourselves. Thought I'd be intimidated by such a large ship with so many passengers and crew but I was so wrong. Never felt overcrowded or herded around. Check in flawless even though they have to process so many in such a short time. Beautiful, immaculate, very friend crew. Cabin looked small but we had a few ...
