We decided on a cruise for vacation due to the all inclusive aspect. It was my wife, my 2 year old son and myself in a cabin. We have a balcony cabin and it was fine. He loved it. We spent a lot of time at the pools and splash pads. We did have him in childcare several nights and he had a great time. If your child is not potty trained do not take them on a cruise due to pool regulations. ...
From good experience on sistership Allure. Oasis was disappointing. I give this ship a 7 out of 10 overall. Room needed update and a deep clean, sofa was worn and dirty, drawers needed repair. Deck and wet areas were Slipery! I seen many guests slip and fall. I could NOT eat quacamole and chips at Sabor Bar! Told me to take out into the rain and sit at dirty wet table, that by the way was also ...
The food, activities, shows were incredible! Definitely the best service we’ve ever experienced on a trip and we felt like family. The ship itself is just amazing and there’s always things to do. We had My Time dining every night with no specialty dining which was included and they changed up the menu every night with lots of yummy choices. The Windjammer buffet always had food for everyone to ...
The Oasis of the Seas is a beauty! What a beautiful ship with lots to do. Customer service is outstanding. Guest services and staterooms attendants are very helpful and courteous. While traveling with teenagers, we appreciate all the love they displayed to my family. If you want a ship that is a home away from home this is your ship. The entertainment was wonderful, lots to do with kids... ...
We spent the night before the cruise in Orlando at the Springhill Suites near the airport. There were restaurants in walking distance so that was nice. We arrived in Port Canaveral at about 10:30am. Once we got all checked in we only had to wait about 20 minutes to board. It wasn't complicated but there were a lot of people. Just pay attention to when your boarding group is called and don't ...
Don't believe the negative reviews about this class of ships as being too big and crowded. The embarcation process at Port Canaveral was a breeze and we were on the ship eating lunch before 12 o'clock. The amount of activities is so vast it is almost impossible to do everything in one week. The entertainment, from a complete production of Cats, to an ice skating show was professionally done and had ...
We really enjoyed this 7 day Western Caribbean cruise. The ship was beautiful and the meals and entertainment were awesome. The excursions off the ship were wonderful and well worth the cost. Getting on and off the ship was easy. Staff on board were very friendly and made sure we were taken care of in the best possible manner. The evening stage shows were very professionally done. There were ...
I feel like Royal Caribbean is more about taking your money than offering you a good experience. We paid for the extra dining package, yet at every specialty restaurant we went to we were charged EXTRA for certain items (like steak or lobster, or any 'specialty' items on the menu). We also paid for gratuity in advance, yet on every bill we were charged an EXTRA 18% automatically for gratuity!! ...
We just got back and we had a great time, lots of things to do but.....
People are slobs - no fault of the ship, but people need to treat the workers better - they would leave their plates and cups all over the place. Just because you are on vacation, doesn't mean you shouldn't have any manners or common sense. Watch your children!!!

This was our second family cruise on the Oasis of the Seas. Both cruises were great. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the ship is amazing. The captain on this cruise was very informative about issues that arose during the cruise(unexpectedly 75mph winds when leaving port, a detour into Nassau to let a passenger off due to a medical emergency, and at the end when there was an increase ...
