Service in dining rooms and stateroom attendant was great. - Central Park is beautiful - Water show was fantastic - cruise was an amazing experience. Haiti was great! It was accessible! Lots of places to shop and a buffet for lunch was delicious. My cabin was completely accessible and I made full use of our private balcony. Dinner was scrumptious! French Onion Soup, steak and the best dark ...
My family ( wife & twin 21 yr old daughters) just got off the Oasis of the Seas a few days ago. We sailed out of Port Canaveral, Fl and traveled to Labadee, Haiti, Falmouth Jamaica and Cozumel, Mexico on a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise. The ship is enormous and beautiful. Even though it holds 6,000+ passengers, it doesn’t feel crowded because it’s so large. We had a balcony stateroom on deck 12 ...
We had a very bad shopping experience in Cozumel Mexico. It was not the fault of RC. This is just a warning to everyone to use extreme caution while shipping and DO NOT shop at the jewelry store Planteria Daniela. It is one of the first jewelry stores you'll come across on the far right side of the shopping center in the newly built area. They claim to be an RC approved store, which they are not. ...
I was going to give them a three rating, but I'm writing this for people like me who stat with the worst and work their way up.
Overall this was an average cruise. Being on one of the world's largest cruise ships gave it some novelty that we had to try once. It didn't take long to realize that a ship with 5000 passengers on a ship geared towards families with children would make for some pretty ...
Quality and price. Convenience of port boarding and disembarking. Dinner menu limited but lobster night makes up for the same old items each night. Be careful buying souvenir bar glasses or shoulder cooler on the Promenade as they improperly add an 18% gratuity. We are buying merchandise and this an obvious improper charge. Don’t miss the Comedy Club or Cats. Come Fly with Me was also a “can’t ...
We decided to go on the Oasis of the Seas about Jan this year, as we always wanted to try out one of the mega ships. We didn’t do too much research into the ship and Royal Caribbean now before booking. The choice of cabins was also somewhat limited by the time we booked, but we were okay with that. I will leave our overall decision of the ship until the end.
VACATION START - We had a total of ...
As with most holiday planning, be it on land or sea, I always follow online review websites as guidence and all too often I read negative reviews about this ship.
But I don't see why, oasis is a beautiful ship, plenty of entertainment, plenty of bars, plenty of food. Cats and all the main stage entertainment were top class, we enjoyed the ice show the most... Such talent right before you. My ...
I chose this cruise because I was told it was great and to get an inside balcony. This proved to be a big mistake. It was on deck 14, right below the teen area. You could not see what was happening on the stage and the only view we had was the hot dog stand and carousel. It was hot and muggy, no breeze.
This ship is big but was not hard to get around - only problem, long waits for ...
This ship is amazing.
Pros

- Central Park is beautiful
- Water show was fantastic
- Friends of ours got married onboard. The wedding service, staff, food etc were great.
- Best filet mignon, could cut it with a knife at Giovanni’s.
Cons - These are all minor issues and wouldn’t deter us from booking ...
This was a honeymoon cruise for me, My 14 th cruise, my new wife's first. She was thrilled, I was greatly disappointed. This large ship experience was very lacking when compared to any other cruise I had taken On Royal, Carnival or Holland. The staff, especially those around the pool were terrible compared to my past experiences. They did their job but that was about it. The cruise director was ...
