Very Port Intensive as Expected

We wanted to do something different for our honeymoon and chose this cruise. I hadn't cruised before but my DW had. The ship was amazing and she was very impressed with the difference between it and the Carnival ships she had previously sailed on due to spending a large amount of time ashore we were tired and didn't get to enjoy the ship as much as we would have on a Caribbean cruise. The ports ...

We choose the Cruise for the destination they provided, three countries one cruise, the on board experience was just amazing in the appearance nothing was spared a shear show boat, the service was second to none, the friendly staff and the attendants were very helpful they made you feel like you are part of the traveling family. The food on this ship was excellent, dinner time felt like a ...

Sea & air stresses you to the point of exhaustion

The cruise was going where I wanted to visit. The Windjammer food was nasty. The room was old, barely kept up, chips on rails, sinks etc. The customer service department fought me constantly about my return flight. THEN they would go on the computer and see that Sea & AIR did not give me a return. The staff was rude and told me I had troubles getting on the computer, until they had to find ...

My overall experience of Freedom of the Seas was very poor. The food in particular was horrific. Everything is about the up sell. You bought a package but here is a better one........ I felt I was on time share holiday. I was told I didn't book the right spa treatments for my skin. It was desperately disappointing. It was very much geared towards Americans. The food was odd. There was ...

Just back from our first cruise. What a delightful trip. The crew were all smiles and good mornings... Our stateroom attendant was a joy to see , he always called us by our first names, how the heck he remembered I shall never know. The weather was a dream as was the whole cruise time. Shore excursions could be a little to long (10 hours) which was far too long for me. The skills at getting ...

This was our first cruise. It was packed with many activities and excursions. Not a moment of being bored. Some of the excursion offered should allow for more time in some key areas, instead of just viewing the area from the motor coach. There were some excursions that started later, which actually turned out to be not enough time. A balance needs to be established between the travel time ...

Overall a fantastic cruise, staff, food, cleanlines and entertainment for all. Would highly recommend to anyone. We didn't leave our ship due to having a 4 year old and a 16 year old whose only interest was pool, food and entertainment all provided on the freedom of the seas. Our room attendant was friendly and thorough, impressed with the animals he made daily using towels. Pools, ...

My teenage daughter and I decided to go back to Europe and this cruise appealed to us. We started with 2 days in Barcelona and booked the pre-cruise package through Royal Caribbean--we stayed at the Hotel De Condesa and it was fabulous! Love the 7th floor because we could walk right out to the sun deck and roof top bar/restaurant! I also booked the hop on hop off bus on my own and got a great ...

Family celebration

We got some credits. Read the reviews about this trip so we (two families - 8 people) decided to choose this to celebrate our kids' graduation. The cabins were very satisfied, so were the dining and nightly entertainment. However one of the shore excursions (A taste to Florence - it lasted 10 hours) was overpriced and we did not enjoy the entire trip at all. The guide (Sandra) was not fun. It ...

We have been to Europe 5 times on our own and on land tours but wanted to see the coastal towns. This cruise had the best itinerary of any of the major cruise lines. We are happy that we chose RCCL as the ship had a crew which was exceptional, the ship was very easy to get around with good signage and the organization of embarkation and shore excursions was impressive. We knew that the food ...
