I had a GREAT time on the Carnival Valor. I am a grandmother of a 12 month old and mother of a 12 year old. My daughter and her husband are professionals, as are my husband and I. Carnival is for the hippies, the bikers, the tattooed, the LGBTQ, artist, writers, poets and free thinkers. The people who hear steel drums and dance like nobody is watching. The people who TRULY leave their troubles on ...
I am glad that I bought FTTF. Checking-in at the port, using the short line at guest services, and debarking when we wanted was great.
With 6 foot swells all week, this was the roughest cruise that we have been on. The swells were so rough that the ship could not port at Amber Cove. We just slowly moved on to our next port. The high winds closed the water slide all week. When we got to ...
The Weather was freezing on occasions and raining which didn't detract from our experience .I loved the exhuberance and friendliness of the mainly American passengers and we had so many laughs along the way .We went to an island in Belize and it was totally stunning ,Mahogany bay was lovely but raining unfortunately ..don't buy the ships excursion to the beach it's twice the price of doing it ...
Disappointing to say the least. Have been on many cruises (lost count) This was just bad.. food was average on the good days. Desserts on the buffet were terrible. Talk about seeing a lot of waste. I am sure that a lot of it was due to inedible food. Overall the ship was reasonably clean, but not even close to other lines that we have been on.
I have never had a bad room steward until the ...
This was our 3rd time on the Valor and have always enjoyed it in the past. This time the air on the ship was totally idiotic. People walking around with winter coats....even scarves. I wore a heavy sweater the entire time. My husband who is always warm wore a jacket all the time. They tried saying it was because the weather outside was cold.
The entertainment was so-so. The CD did an awful job ...
We just returned from a week on the Carnival Valor and the service was phenomenal, especially our cabin steward Rodney, he was fantastic! we loved all the activities on deck, from the Hairiest chest contest to the line dancing and deck party. Also we loved the comedians and the broadway type shows. There are 2-3 comedians every night and the early shows are pg but the later ones are pretty ...

We booked this cruise for our sons 21s birthday. It was ok but not as great as I had anticipated. Our room steward and the dinner crew were awesome! I have no complaints there. The food was ok but not as great this time. The coffee machines on the Lido Deck were a nightmare - they barely worked and it took forever to get ONE cup of coffee.
I was very disappointed with the interior of the ship ...
Ww had an Ocean Suite and the extra bathroom space was worth the extra money when having 3 people in cabin. No cabin noise and it was comfortable. Room steward was great. I will say the Lifeboat drill was not handled well. One of my family members had to wait on someone to send an elevator to take us to our muster station (she could not do the stairs and had a cane). By the time we got to the ...
We took this cruise after I had to cancel a Sunshine cruise in October. Boat and crew were excellent. There were a few guest that would have made things worse if you wanted to listen to them complain. We had one of the best cabin stewards named Raul. We had a balcony 7427.
We did anytime which was awesome never a wait more than 5 minutes. We were a party of 4. Casino was very crowded ...
