Transatlantic experience was everything we had hoped!

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Disney Magic

We expected a lot from Disney and were not disappointed. Staff are excellent, and go out of their way to make sure everyone is having the best experience possible. The food was very good, and having the servers join us in the different restaurants meant that we never needed to explain our preferences again after the first night. Breakfast and lunch were okay, but not in the same league as ...

Magical family experience

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Disney Magic

We were so fortunate to have such a wonderful family vacation aboard the Magic. We have food allergies and are huge Disney fans so this was a perfect fit for us. Everything from our wonderful transfer guide in Puerto Rico to the ship staff and accommodations excided our expectations. Our kids were 14,12, and 5 at the time. They did not spend much time in the kids clubs but that is more our kids ...

Frequent Disney Cruiser- noticed some changes

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Disney Magic

We LOVE Disney and have bought the Vacation Club and have enjoyed many visits to both land and sea. We have cruised on the Magic several times before. This time we noticed some changes I thought I would note. I agree wholeheartedly with the travel agent who reviewed before me. But some of the changes have not resulted in an improved customer experience. Disney has added the gratuity to ...

Disney Magic 7 Days from San Juan, Puerto Rico

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Disney Magic

We chose to travel with our grandchildren and their parents to celebrate both of the children's 3rd & 11th birthdays. We chose aft balconies on the port side. We usually were on the land side when we docked and saw the port. I suggest the starboard side (right) if you are doing the Southern Caribbean. The cakes we purchased for them were absolutely delicious. They did not have real candles but ...

Bucket List Itinerary Trip

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Disney Magic

My family has cruised the Caribbean a handful of times. We love the vibe of the Caribbean but yearned for different ports, and a more port intensive cruise compared to the usual 2-3 ports that you get on a standard Eastern or Western cruise. That put a Southern Caribbean on our bucket list. When we saw that one of our favorite ships, The Magic, was sailing just a handful of Southern itineraries ...

Very Good But Thought It Would Be Stupendous

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Magic

I expected my first Disney cruise to blow me away. The dinner service was so lacking that it colored my whole cruise. My paid for birthday cake for my special birthday which was not delivered on the correct evening was so disappointing. That colored my feelings for the cruise too. However, the evening shows were wonderful, the Concierges were wonderful and the Concierge Lounge was wonderful, ...

A $2,000 for the price of $5,000

I am a Disney fanatic, so I had great expectations for this cruise with my family. Unfortunately my experience was poor, nothing magical about the Disney Cruise. First the good things: Shows were the best I've ever seeing on a ship before. Nothing compare to the quality of the shows, the stage, music and quality of performers from the Disney show. The other very good thing from the cruise ...

Top notch service & entertainment!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Disney Magic

The Disney top notch customer service began even before we stepped on the ship. They sent emails every once in a while reminding us of things to bring, preorder, and book (e.g. excursions, photos packages, etc.). Then, when it got closer, they sent us a small spiral book that had all of the information we needed, specific to us, along with our luggage tags. That was very useful since it had our ...

Overcrowded, small and old cruise

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Magic

Hi, I actually was very disappointed on my cruise trip. The ship was nothing I had imagine, it was a small and old cruise. I guess it's my fault for not doing the research but this is not what I had in mind. The service was great though, it was the only thing great of my trip: my hostess and our waiters. I was also very disappointed that everything I wanted to schedule for the trip was already ...

Dont bother with Concierge / Suites - just get two connecting rooms

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Magic

First, I want to commend Andy (from Germany) and Michelle (from UK) on impeccable service and hospitality as the concierge hosts. They give everything of themselves every day and are great with children and guests and this is NOT a reflection on them or any other ship staff/cast members for that matter. But the concierge rooms at $8,500 for 5 days, or 4-5X what others pay, is a complete ...
