We chose this cruise for the 14 day itinerary without having to return to Ft Lauderdale as in a B2B. We are Elite cruisers in our 60s. It also had two new ports that we had not visited: Martinique and Trinidad. Was somewhat hesitant due to the age of the ship but really miss the true promenade that is not on the bigger ships.
Embarkation was simple and quick. The ship was in good shape ...
Wanted a longer cruise and one with some new ports for us. Only our second princess cruise. We had a great time on Ruby awhile back, but even with a egg shell the beds were rock hard and I didn’t sleep well and had sore back and neck, so we avoided princess until new bedding was in place. It was great, comfortable and long. Princess compares favorably with the other lines we travel and has ...
This was our third cruise on the Caribbean Princess--first since 2017 ship's make-over.
The mini-suite was fine, and cabin service ok but not spectacular. Very sMmooth sailing to Columbia, Panama Canal, Costa Rica, and Grand Cayman. Stopped first in Jamaica, but weather very bad, so got off ship and back on. Weather in other ports very nice. Castaneda boat and city tour was good, had ...
We chose this cruise because of the itinerary that took us to Trinidad without sailing to Ft. Lauderdale like so many do to extend time. We always book Prem Balcony and love the space and roof over part if there are showers. The Salty Dog Grill has stepped up their grilled chicken sandwich with a much better bread on Deck 15. My husband and I did not use the BBQ and Planks Restuarant at night ...
We chose this cruise for its intinerary. The ability to get to Bonaire, Trinidad, and Barbados appealed to our group. Plus the extended cruise was a plus. Our only caveat was the lack of extended entertainment over the course of the cruise, as well as the lackluster food in the main dining room. Our stateroom was kept in impeccable shape thanks to our room steward who did a excellent job. The ship ...
Love the Caribbean and wanted to return. The staff on this ship seemed very happy and were always at your side to offer assistance. They seem content. Compliments to the Captain.
Food was excellent on this ship. Very varied menus.
Port of Trinidad was awful. It was a Sunday and nothing was open. Beaches were far. It is not set up for tourists. Lots of homeless laying around in ...
The ship was as expected the balcony cabin was much the same as before except felt the shower was smaller since refit.
We used the buffet dining option and the specialty restaurants the buffet was good my husband is a fussy eater and I would say at least half of the mealtimes he did not make a good meal
I felt the entertainment was ok we had 5 out of 14 nights with good theatre shows the ...
The Caribbean Princess is beautiful! Our cabin was very nice. We had great servers in the dinning room! The food was excellent! What we were frustrated about was the theater was full to capacity at least an hour before show time. People would save multiple seats for others. We went on to a Culinary kitchen enrichment tour. The presentation was great! I would have liked to see more ...
We chose this particular cruise because of the itenary -to go through the new locks of the Panama Canal. This was our first cruise with Princess. We were not overly impressed with the ship. Our balcony cabin was smaller than the balcony cabin we have had on Carnival. For the price, we expected more. Everything was just OK, but not as fancy as we had expected. There were only two big stage ...
My Mom really wanted to do a Panama Canal cruise as her last big holiday. She turned 80 this past year, so I thought we should do this before her health takes a turn for the worse. She enjoyed this so much, I think she's ready to go on another.
This was our first time sailing out of Port Everglades and we found embarkation was efficient with almost no standing in line. We arrived at the port ...
