Excellent Itinerary!

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Norwegian Spirit

We chose this ship for the price, timing and itinerary. It did not disappoint! The ports of call were excellent and provided a busy schedule for us. We did book shore excursions through the boat for 4 of the ports and on our own for the other 4, I would not suggest booking them through the ship. With the exception of convenience (and the assurance of returning on time) the ones through the ...

Chose the cruise because of the itinerary and dates. Embraking and disembarking was from our country port meaning less hassle and less travel. It s a free style cruise where you dress comfortably without any gala nights! Language is English and really safe for kids. My son loved it and made use of the kids club onboard where staff take good care of them. I would definately go ...

Loved the ports. Skipped pricey and crowded shore excursions for privately booked tours and independent travel. Able to beat crowds and no problem getting back in time. Favorite stops: - Athens (Michael's Amazing Tours: Fit in trip to Athen's major sites, a swim at a beach and visit to Poseidon temple); - Taki's Olympia tour (Olympics, Winery and Beach). Wonderful , friendly driver did a ...

We booked this cruise because of it's port-intensive itinerary, being able to see so many European destinations in one cruise. There were three generations, 5 of us total, in 3 balcony rooms. Our 10 yo son loved the kid's club, as he has on past NCL cruises. We are used to the newer, larger NCL ships with lots of kids-based entertainment with water slides, mini-golf, ropes courses, etc. so ...

We chose this cruise because of the ports and it being close to home. We have mostly cruised on the monster ships, including the Epic. I was surprised about the Norwegian Spirit. It was very nice. The ship has a unique feel that is different from other ships in the Norwegian fleet. That aside, there were a couple of things that we found lacking. The toilets sometimes had a delay between ...

All inclusive on this cruise isn't true.We saw an add for an 11 day mediterranean cruise for 1699.00 per person by the time i was done it was 3k per person. We got the unlimited beverage package which didn't include water, can you believe that they don't include water disgusting, If they had half a brain they would give you small water bottles with their logo on it to advertise off the ship do ...

To be fair, we own a business and are totally driven by dates that WE are available to take a trip. Had this cruise not fit in with our schedule, we probably wouldn't have gone with it. Having said that, (1). NCL need to dry dock the ship. We had an expensive cabin. It was in average condition, with the bathroom and specifically the shower being in less than acceptable shape with areas of ...

Great first cruise, but tired entertainment and no kid restrictions

We chose to sail with NCL after doing some research and wanting a cruise line that was not going to be a formal affair and we certainly got that with NCL. You could essentially wear what you liked, which made for a lovely informal atmosphere on board the ship. As first time cruisers this very much took off the concern about what to pack and wear, especially in the evenings. Yes, the ship is ...

Yes, its an older ship. If you look in corners you'll see it. It doesn't have the climbing wall or waverider surfing or big slides. The big picture though is better. We chose this ship/cruise for the ports, and the price. We were nervous about conditions given prior reviews, such as ship showing it's age, and poorly designed small bathrooms/toilet/room size. Ultimately we went ahead ...
