it seems that there are almost as many experiences of the same vacation as there are passengers. We all come with our own expectations and our own idea of value for money.
We chose the Norwegian Spirit because of the excellent itinerary and good pricing and even when the itinerary was changed and we did not get to visit the Canary Islands and Madeira due to rough seas in the Atlantic, we were ...
We wanted to see Morocco. and The ports of Casablanca and Tangier were super.
The guide for the Ship small group tour was terrific.Yuossef Sedraoui.
He was so great with the history, the culture, his info was presented very well. We were never bored.
He did a fantastic job.
The food on the ship was average.
But the service was "over the Top" Great wait staff in the dining ...
We have travelled with Norwegian 6 times before this cruise. We knew it was an older ship and were concerned with some reviews. Not sure what anybody see's wrong with this ship, it was fantastic. We have been on many of the new big ships, Spirit was a refreshing change. The crew were amazing, very friendly and always meeting you with a smile. The ship is the oldest in the fleet but well ...
Having previously enjoyed 3 cruises with NCL (Star, Epic,Spirit) we decided to take a 2nd cruise on NCL Spirit. From start to finish we found it to be an absolute nightmare, and couldn't wait to get home.
The cruise did not get off to a good start, when passengers were told on embarkation in Barcelona, that the itinerary had been changed, and 3 major ports were substituted for far less ...
For first-timers, our cruise on Norwegian Spirit could not have been a better introduction to cruising. Although we were disappointed that Mother Nature said we couldn't sail to the Canaries and Madeira, Norwegian managed to our cruise equally memorable by choosing excellent alternate ports.
Going back a few days, our stay in Barcelona at the Monte Blanc was perfect. The location gave us easy ...
We chose this sailing because of the itinerary, and because NCL's web site said that the ship had been refurbished last year. We were disappointed on both counts: a) they radically adjusted the itinerary because of forecast rough seas and foul weather; b) the 2017 refurbishment was primarily emission control requirements for the exhaust stacks, and NOT a major update of the cabins and common ...
Although the itinerary changed because of bad weather, I had a great cruise! The staff is awesome and it is a bit of an older ship, but I love it! Shows are good, didnt see them all. Loved the cabin, close to everything. Love the specialty restaurants and Shogun, the Asian one. The chicken wings in the Blue Lagoon are worth the try. Bartenders are fantastic!
I would not hesitate to go back on ...
We chose this cruise for two reasons: (1) we had never been to Casablanca or the Canary Islands, and (2) we wanted to get away from the cold & snowy Canadian winter for a bit.
This was our 6th cruise so we expected a certain degree of service. We were very disappointed. In our cabin for example what we believed to be reading lamps on the wall were at a level where the pillows should be and ...
I choose this cruise for the itinerary. It was a great value. As a single I paid less than twice. The solo traveler host was great. Other than that it was just ok, no complaints, just ok, well delivered normal travel. This line is not for those expecting something extra. Theydo what is promised but little else.
The food, again, was ok. Obviously the specialty restaurants were ...
We really liked the ship, BUT it is in need of an up date. The cabin was rather poor.
Only one bedside table, the other side had a standard lamp ? Very strange. Carpet was dirty and vanity table was broken
The food was good, staff was lovely. BUT this ship is to small for the Atlantic and it was a very bumpy ride, with sea sick bags placed on very floor.
We had a drinks package, BUT got ...
