We chose this cruise because it would cover the Thanksgiving Holiday. We have already done a Panama Canal trip but had not gone all the way to the Pacific Side. We wanted a Panama canal cruise and picked Holland because we wanted to try them. We have been on 7 cruises before this on other cruise lines. There must be something wrong with the stabilization system on that ship. It never stopped rocking. 15 days of walking like you were drunk.

I am submitting the latest laundry package options for Oosterdam. I hope you find it helpful. These prices were current as of November 2017. Many times, laundry was returned clean in 12 hours, some times less. We had no issues with the quality of the laundry service.

The itinerary around Central America was intriguing and features the Panama Canal.
Ship food is good, but not excellent. Desserts seem to be made from a soy-based origin. Lots of mousses that taste rather chemical in nature and seem to stand up by themselves.

The itinerary was changed because of the hurricanes and the ship only carried 1255 passengers according to the captain. This cruise was the first HAL Cruise we took 3 generations on.
