Left from Port Everglades and did self park in ramp garage after dropping off luggage at terminal. Took free shuttle to the ship and embarkment was easy. The RC Serenade of the Seas was built in 2003 and it shows its age with the dated décor and smaller ship then there are available today and doesn't have all the amenities the newer ships do. We sailed the Serenade of the Seas for 11 days in February. The ship was sparkling clean, and the staff was attentive and friendly. The food was excellent.

Great itinerary with 2 days on the sea at the beginning and end.
Excellent customer services by crew -- especially Oscar, Kamur and Gerald in the Reflections Dining Room and Caroline, Cabin Attendant (8518). Awesome job! All crew went out of their way to provide excellent services; however, these 4 stood out to us.

Destinations: GREAT..loved the islands..everyone was so friendly and nice to Americans.
Lovely warm breezes and warm days. Always felt safe..althou the taxi drivers and such can be pushy trying to get you to take a tour (but this was expected)

I am Diamond Plus and received a 300 cabin credit (issued on a Fall cruise in 2017) for this cruise. Could not pass it up and so I got out of winter weather at home. I prefer the Transatlantic (take this twice a year) for the activities and entertainment.

We chose this cruise, because we needed to get away and all of our previous cruises with Royal Caribbean have been great! In general we had a great time, the waiters, cabin service were fantastic. We paid for a room with a balcony for a view, which was tainted with a work ladder obstructing our view, and we were not told about this when booking our cruise.

Enough of white stuff and looking for warmer climat. After 19 cruises we can say that:
We can get much better/longer stay for the same amont of money.
RCCL has become a too large profit center on every things/activities offered and surely not worthwhile the price.
