We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. We were not disappointed by that at all. The Ship was small and I missed the Promenade Deck. Centrum is too small and confining. We feel the same way about the dining room. Cramped space and service was not good. Food was great, we only ate in the main dining room 3 of our 10 nights. We did greatly enjoy the Specialty Restaurants and didn't mind ...
Was told last year ship was to be refurbished not true. This ship is old in decor, linens are thread bare, beds are extremely hard. The solarium pool decor is poor worn and out of date and dirty. The stateroom bathroom is tiny and smells of sewage. The 12 Bar Band was terrible, unenthusiastic and dressed in same attire wrinkled and unkept each night. Very little seating in centrum. Outside ...
We are a group of 7 (3 Adults, 2 Seniors & 2 kids that are 12 and 10) and wanted to choose an itinerary that would go further south rather than the standard Eastern and Western.
The cruise consisted of 11 days. 2 days at Sea, Ponce Puerto Rico, Basseterre St Kitts, Castries St Lucia, Bridgetown Barbados, St Georges Grenada, St John's Antigua and then 2 days at Sea.
Overall the cruise ...
It provided 4 ports that we had never seen before (Ponce, PR - Barbados - Antigua & Granada) as well as two of our favorites ports (St. Kitts & St. Lucia). We especially love to sail on Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. They provide very fine cuisine and service. We usually eat in the dining room for most of our meals and prefer to dress for dinner. This cruise has two formal nights but no the jacket ...
We chose this cruise because it went to islands we had never been too, and it fit into our vacation schedule.
The ship was not too big....not too small. We liked the size because it was small enough that as we walked around the ship we would recognize people that we had met on a shore excursion or had eaten with earlier.
We met as many Canadians as Americans. That was fun but a ...
As my husband preferred to golf in Palm Springs rather than cruise the Caribbean one more time, my friend and I booked the 11 night Southern Caribbean on Serenade March 19th. We booked this cruise based on the budget my friend could afford - Everything was perfect until we opened the door to the cabin. The smell of urine and dirty socks was like hitting a brick wall! And so the cleaning process ...
This was our way of celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary from last September. Normally we take 7 day cruises but decided to splurge a little with a longer cruise.
The ports of call were good, as two (Ponce and Grenada) were new to us. The ship was ok but sometime was hard to get around from place to place. We didn't share the feeling of love for this particular ship as some others have ...
This is our second time on board Serenade of the Seas and we've been on Oasis and Explorer & Jewel. My husband and I do prefer the this size of ship or Voyager but the kids love the Oasis class as there's just more things for them to do. I do admit with a smaller ship, you're limited to what you can do but if your cruise is port-heavy, I think this size of ship is great. We were on an 11 day ...
We chose this cruise with Royal Carribean because my sister and her family have cruises with Royal many times.
From the moment we arrived on the ship until the day we disembarked 11 days later we were totally transformed from island travelers to Cruisers. There is nothing like it. The places you see in the world over the short 11 days wa what I really enjoyed the most.
The staff , crew, all ...
As the title suggest, this cruise was made for my wife and I. It was our 4th Caribbean cruise and by an amazing coincidence, all six ports of call would be new to us. It's not so easy finding a cruise with all new destinations every time you sail.
You will note from the overall rating above stops at "very good," and just one aspect stopped me from making it "excellent."
The cruise from the ...
