I am a seasoned traveller but new to cruising and we took this trip as a family because my niece got married and wanted all of us to come along as part of their honeymoon. The food: Was wonderful, plenty of food choices and the hours were so that you didn't have to wake at the crack of dawn to make sure you eat breakfast. Cleanliness : The cleaning staff work tirelessly and we even ...

Great Cruise for Price

I have been on 5 cruises. I had stayed away from Carnival because I had heard it was a second tier cruise line. I was lured in by an inexpensive Western Carribean cruise. I'm so glad I was because it was great. The Carnival Glory is a older ship, but it was perfectly clean and has good bones. I liked how they had an adult pool at the back and an adult sun deck with 2 hot tubes at the front. I did ...

Note...... We are interdenominational cruisers, we sail everybody, and have sailed a lot. That said we know generally what to expect from each line, and therefore sail with little expectation, therefore very seldom disappointed. That said.... we come home from a Western Caribbean cruise on the Glory with mixed feelings. What worked..... Great stateroom, Ocean Suite, size nice, well appointed, ...

Fun Cruise Experience

Carnival Glory was our 3 rd Carnival cruise and by far the best experience for us. Our ocean view cabin was good, the temp was keep cool and it felt great after a day out in island excursion. Our cabin were kept clean and orderly, my only complaint was the noise in the hallway late at night by some passengers, mostly kids yelling and running. Our dining experience in Platinum lower level was ...

We have traveled many times on Carnival.. (10 trips) Over the years it seems that the quality is becoming sub standard. Staff was polite but nothing exceptional. Prior to gratuity being automatically added to your account, staff was amazing, everywhere you went you were WOWed with customer service... Not so anymore... Watch out for the Casino. First time we have won at Casino. Staff explained ...

As a first time cruise my fiancé and I had a great time, our cabin was an interior upper cabin located in the middle of the ship which was convienient to get to either the front or back of the ship. I hear midship is great for first time cruisers as you don't feel the movement as much. The cabin was spacious for two people always cleaned, we were very lucky to get a very friendly staff member ...

What I Would Have Liked to Have Known Before My Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Glory

I would love to share with you what I would have like to have known before I got on the ship. First, Carnival Glory Cruise line has a crew that is dedicated to customer service. Not everything was perfect, but I did have great experience. I read a few reviews about this ship and I got a little nervous. The ship is older than most and it is not the most glamorous of ships, but it is nice. ...

This was only our second cruise, so I realizeI am a novice compared to many on here, but here are some thoughts anyway; Ship/Staff: -In good shape, well staffed, well maintained. Even though it's not Carnival's biggest ship, it's certainly not small. Cruise Director was cool and not so into himself like some seem to be. TO DO on Ship: -Serenity deck was nice, and rarely packed, so ...

Good for 1 week, Not for 2

If we had travelled on this cruise for 1 week it would probably have got a higher rating, as you will see from the review, but we travelled for 2 weeks, which caused problems. Initial embarkation was amazing. We arrived at around 2 pm and practically walked straight on. I’ve never boarded a ship so quickly. Our room was really lovely with a big balcony, as we were in an aft cabin. ...

Absolutely loved the Carnival Glory. We were on the Carnival Liberty in January and that cruise was great but the Glory had something else... The staff and crew were some of the nicest and helpful people I have came across on a cruise ship. Our Stewards were fantastic and always made sure our room was spotless and well kept. We had a balcony room on the deck 8 Mid ship and felt that this was just ...
