Pre cruise
Imagine staff unhelpful in relation to us e-mailing customer service about advice on which type of Indian visa was required. We received an answer stating “we are not legally qualified to give this information speak to the Indian High Commission or VFS. When we contacted the Indian High Commission they gave us the incorrect advice. Eventually, we got a detailed and clear answer to ...
Ok, we had a lovely Cruise, the itinery was great and that is what sold us the cruise, the ship was comfortable, albeit a little tired in places, There were issues that Celebrity really need to address but on balance it may appear to some that these are petty to others. However you have to remember that Celebrity are selling a dream, and as a customer I should not have to compromise. We arrived ...
Was a very good deal and was going to places we wanted to see cabin was spacious and comfortable and jay our cabin steward was lovely nothing to much trouble.we were on the second floor cabin2082 right in the middle great location.Dining we did early siting Alastair our waiter very attentive and friendly food was superb and no dish was repeated in the 14 days we were sailing ,maitre de came to ...
We had never cruised before and were sceptical, however the whole experience exceeded our expectations. Having flown to Dubai we were then subjected to a two hour road trip to Abu Dhabi, I am sure there are fiscal reasons for this but not for the travellers. In my opinion the cruise should have sailed from Dubai or we should have been flown into Abu Dhabi as we were very tired after a night flight ...
This is our 2nd cruise with Celebrity, having cruised from Sydney to Honolulu in April of 2016 on board the Solstice.
We knew that the Constellation was a older ship, and did have some reservations about going on a older and smaller ship, but it did have a couple of refits over the past few years, most recently in May of 2017, so we hope it was up to the Solstice class standard.
We need not ...
Chosen for winter sun. Ports uninspiring. Indian visas were a complete, and very expensive, debacle that Celebrity needs to get a grip on - their advice differed from person to person. Unusually, some of the crew were indifferent, at best, and plain rude at worst. Most crew were great but there were more than a few dissenters. 8th cruise with Celebrity and will definitely not be on a ...
We have used Celebrity for cruises before and decided to go away for Christmas and New Year. So when we found the cruise to the Arabian Sea and India in December 2017, we jumped at the chance. We have always wanted to go to India, so we thought a taster would be a good start. In the past, we had only cruised on the Celebrity Eclipse. So we knew the Celebrity Constellation was a smaller ship and ...
We chose this cruise because we would be away for my husband's birthday and Christmas and new year, and also because it took us to places we had never before visited.
When we arrived at Abu Dhabi airport everything went well until we were greeted by Celebrity reprisentatives to take us to our transfer coaches. There were not enough staff on hand to deal with the numbers of guests and it ...
This was to be an Anniversary Cruise. Dubai to India
The ship looked great on the outside but inside no WOW FACTOR to greet us nothing like the brochure.
It looked tired and dated.
The cabins were kept immaculate and the crew worked hard to keep the ship clean clean. The crew were very friendly and cheerful
The elevators one of the best bits
It was rated as 5* but a 3* was about its ...
We chose this cruise because we wanted some winter sunshine, visiting the UAE and especially India. The fact it included both Christmas and the New Year was an added bonus.
The ship was fine with a good cabin and excellent cabin attendants. We have been on a number of cruises before and the ships entertainment team were excellent by comparison. There were six sea days and plenty to do with the ...
