Great experience for our 1st cruise

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

This is our 1st cruise & don't have another one to compare to. We have always been on package holidays or been to Florida in a villa. We found the holiday very enjoyable, the food in the dining room was excellent & the waiter staff exceptional. We usually attended the 1st show after our evening meal & there was a variety of shows on offer, and we always enjoyed them. We always found the bars ...

Left home near Coventry at 10:10, on the boat around 14:30, excellent service from Eavesway Travel, slight delay in Southampton getting checked in but then in the cabin by 15:00, first case was outside the door as we left the port the other three arrived over the next hour or so. The ships crew were so friendly wherever you went on the boat and whatever the role they were performing, from the ...

We chose this cruise because of the ports of call and size of ship. The food was excellent and varied something for everyone .entertainment was good and activities on the ship something going on all the time .All of the staff were very much involved in making sure we had a good cruise and we're always there to give advice. We were a couple without children but there were all ages of children from ...

The only things they don't charge you for apart from the snacks on Deck 5, is the air you breathe and getting off/on the ship ! Bottled water in cabin $5 plus each! Food, both in the Sapphire and Windjammer very ordinary. One meal I ate gave me food poisoning and I was throwing up for one day and unable to eat for another. Steward just changed the towels and made the bed. Many coach trips ...

Fabulous Family Holiday

We have travelled with Royal Caribbean before and yet again Royal Caribbean were brilliant. Food, Entertainment, Cleanliness, Friendliness of the Crew and Efficiency were second to none. We ate at Johnny Rockets and thought that the prices were good as was the food and entertainment. The only thing I would say is that there wasn't enough areas for sitting when the weather wasn't good and most ...

Magical Mediterranean spoilt by dining room disaster

Having been impressed by the itinerary of the delights the mediterranean can offer, we looked forward with great anticipation to our 5th cruise from Southampton. Being disabled I stayed in an accessible junior suite, do not think being in this category of room would bring you any benefits, it was just a very large room, plenty of room for hoist, easy access onto large balcony, though we were not ...

Disappointing Cruise

This was our 6th cruise with RC and we have certainly seen a decline in the standard of food and entertainment over the years. The service at times was slow and there appeared to be less waiters in the bars than on previous cruises which probably accounted for this. The food was bland and I found myself adding salt to my food for the first time ever. The menu in the main dining room was ...

ASTONISHING DROP IN STANDARDS

We previously had a wonderful cruise on Independence of the Seas and were really looking forward to this one. It's a holiday and we were determined to enjoy it...and we did. However, we could not believe how much the standards had dropped since our last cruise right the way across the ship. Despite a fairly recent refurb, the ship looked 'tired' in terms of decorating, furniture, fixtures and ...

Food in the main dining room in the evening was slow to appear even though no table in our section was ever full The wine waiter gave me the wine list on day 1 from which I chose a red wine, I was never shown the list again and a glass of red wine was put in front of me with a second class already poured and waiting on the side for the next 11 days The entertainment staff would be better of ...

Poor quality, poor service, rushed destinations

We were a group consisting of two families equalling 23 of us. The other family picked the cruise line. We were all disappointed. The motto of Royal Caribbean should be changed to hurry up and wait. For example the Captain makes an announcement that everyone needs to be on board by 530 and if you are not, "make sure to bring a camera to take wonderful pictures of the beautiful Navigator of the ...
