Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

We chose his cruise for the southern caribbean itinerary. We always enjoy the Dutch islands.and seldom get to visit them. Navigator is an older ship but still offers an excellent cruise experience minus the latest bells and whistles. Our superior balcony room was in very good condition. Overall, the ship has a worn look. That is not a big negative, but competition is stiff, and the flaws show.. ...

I was traveling with a group of people and we decided on this cruise when a longer cruise we were looking at became cost prohibitive. This cruise was a nice compromise, not too short and had several stops. it would have been nicer if we were to have a full day in port - maybe be able to sample the night life as well. The dining room was excellent and the buffet had a nice wide selection. ...

Navigator of the Seas; 9-day Nov 24 – Dec 4 (Labadee, Curacao, Bonaire, Aruba). We are in our very early 60’s and still working. We’ve taken about 25 to 30 cruises, around 10 with RCCL over about the past 20 years. Embarkation: D- This was the second worst embarkation we’ve had. We had stayed at a local hotel and took their shuttle to the pier in Miami. When we got there about ...

Went on the navigator nov 24 to dec 03rd had read alot of bad reviews for this ship but management appears to have listened and made improvements. The ship itself was very clean and beautifully decorated. All the crew on board were friendly and geared towards you having a good experience. Hats off to cuddy the cruise director who was always present and so funny. The main headliner shows could use ...

This was my first trip with Royal Caribbean, after more than a dozen cruises with Cunard, Carnival and NCL. I didn't have unreal high expectations however, after this experience, I wonder why is it that RCI is considered a higher standard in cruising? My first negative impression came from staff members, whom I suspect are underpaid and in less than decent conditions on the boat (they can't ...

This cruise was our first with Royal Caribbean... It was wonderful.. We had a Balcony and the air conditioning had a problem and after 4 hours and 4 men , my husband called guest services and told them we needed to be moved and they figured the problem out very quick...they have connector in the balcony door that was not connecting...the air will not turn on unless it does..they had to adjust the ...

Our cruise aboard Navigator was prefaced with a 5-night stay on Miami Beach. We enjoyed the time exploring this area of Florida and the location within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions could not have been better. A short Uber ride brought us to the Miami Cruise port and as a first time Platinum cruiser, we were allowed to be seated to await boarding. Embarkation went smoothly ...

This cruise was chosen for us by our sons and family. It was to celebrate our 50th anniversary. They choose well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our servers in the Sapphire dining room, Amergail and Desran were wonderful. Staff in the Windjammer also, were friendly and nice. Kept keeping the tables clean and brought something you needed. Entertainment was very good as well. Housekeeper ...

We knew there would be "some" children on this cruise because it was over Thanksgiving, we DID NOT expect 2,000 children, yes this number was confirmed at the front desk. R.C. has turned into a cheap Disney cruise. R.C is catering to the family unit and now that I am a diamond member, I have taken a back seat to 10 year old brats !!! On our first night we were standing in line for the main ...
