Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

Having sailed on this ship nearly 10 years ago we were looking forward to the amazing time we had previously. Unfortunately we found that the ship is a little worn, a little dirty, especially the hallway carpet near our room, deck 6 forward, starboard side. I have to also say the staff for the most part were not very friendly and often times were very short with conversation. We are platinum ...

This was my 34th cruise overall, 8th on Royal Caribbean. I traveled with my husband (his 34th cruise, too). Here is the explanation for my title: We planned to fly from New York JFK to Miami on January 5 to board the cruise on the same day. However, because of the blizzard on January 4th, all flights were cancelled. In order to not be penalized for the airline tickets, we flew again on Monday ...

Our trip on this ship was excellent. We loved the people, the food, and the cleanliness. The Navigator to the Sea is a very beautiful ship. Everything was easy and convenient. Our table was 347 with Omar and Sergei, I can't begin to tell how nice, kind and considerate both of them are. Both have very sweet spirits about them, we did appreciate them. Kenneth Marriott was our room attendant ...

Highlights - Navigator of the Seas Wait Staff, buffet greeters and Cabin attendants; Staff recognition events on last night of sail was impressive both at the Sapphire dining lounge and later at the Metropolis theatre; Ice skating show was quite enjoying. Seats were pretty easy to snag; The venue for the nightly show was excellent; Service at the Sapphire dining lounge was ...

I had not taken a cruise in a couple of years other than a horrible Carnival cruise from JAX. I did a lot of research before selecting this one and did basically based on ports as I was trying to avoid the ports hit hard by the recent hurricanes. The reviews on this ship were mixed but I liked the timing. Because of the mixed reviews, I suppose my expectations were on the lower side. Overall, ...

The Navigator and its crew are very good at what they do

We traveled on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Sea's out of the Port of Miami starting January 5, 2018. The Good, Bad and Ugly! Things were a bit bad getting on the ship was a bit more difficult than one would have thought. Long lines most likely caused by the long and narrow terminal force agents to have to walk a distance to get passenger sea passes and other paperwork. Since the ...

This was our first cruise. We just LOVED IT! We are both in the late 20s, and were afraid that we were alone in the age, but it was very nice blend and we became familiar with lots of people. When we first got into the boat, we were greeted with a glass of proseco. We had obviously ordered a drink package in advance and did not regret 1 second. We cost us a lot, very nice boat and always something ...

Took a 9 day cruise to the Southern Caribbean in early January to get away from the cold Ohio weather and glad we did. First time on the Navigator but we had sailed on the Adventure so we already were familiar with the layout. Flew to Miami a day early so we weren't as rushed and just in case the weather was bad. Deicing in Cincinnati caused us to miss our connecting flight but we received ...

We arrived in Miami a day early and was able to have dinner at Yardbird with my cousin. We used Uber to get from the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay to the cruise ship and it was quick and easy. Getting on the ship didn't take that long considering how many people where there, getting off the ship was also smooth. We loved the ship, it is an older ship but it was beautiful. This was the ...

This was our annual Apparel Decorators Cruise (10th). It was a great cruise. We (group of 29) had access to a great conference room for our classes each day. The only problem was the internet. I paid a lot of money for "the fastest internet on the sea" or some such crap. The service was lousy. It kept logging me off, it was EXTREMELY slow, and it was a lengthy process to log back on each ...
