We took a taxi from FLL airport, cheaper than Carnival's transport. Ride to and from the ship were both under $20.
Getting on the ship was quick and easy. They called us by the number they put on our tickets when we checked in at the desk. Only thing that stalls getting on the ship are the photographers that stands right at the entrance wanting to take pictures. Fellow passengers-if you ...
We had last cruised Carnival on the Dream in November 2013. It was so bad that we hadn't cruised Carnival since. We decided to give them another try and were pleasantly surprised.
We had the early seating in the Renoir dinning room - table 630. Our waiter (Jose) and the rest of the dinning room staff were very good and took prompt attention to our requests and needs. The food ran the ...
Our trip was very extraordinary in more ways than one. Food was excellent. Better than past cruises. Ports were all good. Weather was more than excellent.
However, volume of every performance on ship was loud enough to raise the dead!!! Not pleasant!! Some of the performances were so loud you couldn't hear the performers speaking over the music. I think the next cruise I will be taking hearing ...
We did a B2B on this ship and we had to change cabins for the second week. The cabins was right next door to each other. I had been on the Conquest in 2014 so was looking forward to looking to this cruise.
We flew down to Ft. Lauderdale on Jan. 1st 2016 and our first cruise started on the 3rd. We stayed at the Hyatt downtown. It was good but expensive but we were only there for the 2 nights ...
Our cruise was one of the best we've had. Dining room head waiter, Razvan, was busy, efficient and cheerful, but so much more! He felt like a dear friend by the end of the cruise. What a sense of humor! Our room was kept immaculate. The employees were always cheerful, and so many asked us if we were having a good time. Very friendly. The food varied from good to excellent, no bad meals. ...
Spent 8 days on the Carnival Conquest January 9-17 and with great weather had a very enjoyable time. It has been a year since my last cruise so I experienced for the first time Blue Iguana Tequila Bar and cantina , Red Frog Rum Bar, Guy's Burgers. I had interior room 7436 and it was just two stairs to coffee in the morning and two down to all activity around casino and shops.
First few days ...
This was our third cruise and best one yet. We traveled with friends who were first time cruisers. Overall, we had a great time on-board and in each port.
One day/night was rocky due to a low pressure system in the area, but we made the best of it with an early night.
We did have an issue with our shower (clogged drain causing the bathroom to flood) which took quite a long time to resolve ...
The "friendliest crew at Sea!"
Considering the ship entered service in the 2002- it is in great shape for its age. This being my 13th cruise, the crew is the FRIENDLIEST at sea. Eddy, the cabin stewart knew and addressed me by name when he saw me. Asked how the day was- Always asked if I needed anything. Bianca on embarkation was fabulous in buffet, brining ice tea to the table. In the Renoir ...
This was my husband and I's honeymoon. We were very excited to check out two ports we had never been too (Grand Turk and Amber Cove). We are from Dayton, OH and made the decision to drive down to save money. It was a long one! (16.5 hours). We left Dayton two days early to take our time travelling. We left early in the morning and stopped in Atlanta for a lunch with a friend that lives there. We ...
My husband and I were married on the Carnival Conquest before it left port in Ft. Lauderdale, and the cruise was our honeymoon. It was a wonderful experience all around, both the wedding and the honeymoon cruise.
Embarkation was very smooth and quick. Since we were getting married that day, we had VIP access to board early. Carnival made sure to have both our suite and a fellow traveler's ...
