Great itinerary, ok ship

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

The reason we choose this ship was the itinerary was fantastic. Kotor was the one surprise, we knew nothing about it but it was our favorite stop! Royal Caribbean could do more to get passengers to public transportation. Several stops were a long hot walk to get out of the port. Venice was extremely hot and hard on the older members of our group. The ship needs lots of maintenance and renovation. ...

As first time cruisers we didn't know what to expect but took everything in our stride. We loved going around the med and visiting lots of different places. Apart from entertainment not being our cup of tea the rest of the cruise we couldn't fault. Entertainment on ship in the evenings was a little naff.. king n country pub had a good singer with guitar but he talked way too much and got ...

Have to be honest, I had resisted my wife's 'suggestions' to cruise for over 20 years. As I originate from England and my holiday experiences consisted of 'Butlin's' at Southport and Blackpool as a child, I dreaded the thought of being stuck in a constricted space with people who I might have little in common with and an expectation to dance and make a fool of myself, but expected to share my ...

We arrived to Barcelona three days before embarking and got to know the city and attractions in detail. The cruise was fantastic because the ports of call were very well planned and there were multiple options to take excursions. We took one each time to get the best of the trip. A remarkable note: the food at the main dinning was excellent and the service outstanding. Our waiters were ...

I just wanted to start out by stating my displeasure with this cruise. Being recently married, my wife and I were greatly looking forward to spending our honeymoon aboard the Brilliance of the Seas with Royal Caribbean. However what we found throughout our trip was that what was promised was not actually deliverable. On the day of embarkation, were were told that we would be receiving courtesy ...

We had an amazing cruise! The ports of call can not be beat! We love this class of ship particularly the Windjammer. The food in the main dining room was good as was the food served in the Windjammer. Being a longer cruise the food in the Windjammer became a little repedative however it was not really and issue for us. Our only complaint was the lack of entertainment. No special headliners ...

The selection of ports to visit on this cruise itinerary was an outstanding opportunity not to be missed. Our ship accommodations were very good with a staff that was truly professional. They anticipated our needs beyond our expectations. Dining areas and food was superb and ship was extremely clean at all times. The tours were very well organized and well worth the cost which was extremely ...

My whole family total 7 numbers on the Brilliance of the Sea and we are all satisfied this mediterian trip. Good routine design, 8 ports, most famous cities in Italy all covered. We just hope can stay longer in Rome then we can enjoy more beautiful resorts. Foods are fresh and delicious! Very friendly and profetional service. Anytime you want to eat, you can get good food. The only regert ...

This was a great cruise visiting really cool ports. The ship, although 15 years old, was well-kept and had some great features. While it's not one of their mega ships, it was a lot of fun and we enjoyed it completely! We felt the food was excellent in the main dining room and we had perfect service! The ship was always clean, had upgraded furnishings and felt like we were on a luxury ship. The ...
