Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

This was our first cruise, so we relied on reviews and friends' experiences to prepare us. The ship was very nice, and our deluxe balcony cabin was clean and comfortable. The staff was for the most part friendly and accommodating. The entertainment was excellent. We were, however, very disappointed with the quality of the food in the dining room--average, at best. Next time we will try ...

Embarcation was problem free for us. I like RCCI ships even the big ones and am a diamond member. The food was great and the service was too. One complaint I have is about the venue for Diamond and Diamond plus members. The room is tiny and there were 125 of these members on board. The Viking Crown Lounge was right next store and could have easily been arranged to accommodate the overflow at ...

Wanted a short cruise just to relax and get away. Embankment and Disembarkment were very easy. The ship was very nice but there could be an improvement on the food and service in the main dining room. People at our table, who had the six o’’clock dinner time, made it difficult for our waiter as they wanted to eat quickly so they could go to the 7:30 show. Therefore our food came late and at one ...

We took this cruise, our first ever, to prove to ourselves that cruising is not for us. Turns out that many aspects of cruising far exceeded our expectations! Beautiful ship, comfortable room, plenty of available deck chairs in quiet areas, great entertainment in the theater. Royal Caribbean really knows how to treat their guests. We felt respected and pampered every moment. The dining ...

We have a vacation home less than an hour from Tampa and wanted to experience departing from Tampa and experience The Brilliance to Western Caribbean We seamlessly boarded the Brilliance by 10:45 am on Monday . We headed directly to Sky Bar for our first drink and were greeted with excellent service. We ate at The Park Café in the Solarium and it was excellent ! Who doesn't love those roast ...

There was 10 of us on this cruise, I choose this cruise because I wanted to stop at Key West, a month or so before they changed it,was very disappointed. They also changed the beverage package after the booking. I use to enjoy Royal Caribbean but they have gone down hill since my last cruise. For a full ship there was not enough staff. In the dining room they would practically run you over with ...

A Lovely Cruise! Sail date 2/26/18 (Grand Cayman & Cozumel)

We chose this cruise because it sailed out of Tampa, which is convenient for us. We are also fans of Royal Caribbean. The Brilliance is a nice medium sized ship--not super huge, but certainly big enough. The ship is going in for refurbishments in April 2018. There is some appearance of wear and tear. The sofa in the cabin was looking older and worn, but it was still comfy to sit on. And ...

We are Loyal Royal Caribbean Cruisers; 5+ cruises to date. Cabin was very clean and fresh with friendly attendant smiling all the time. Cabin was always refreshed when we were not around.........wonder how she knew we weren't there? Balcony on stern of ship is great for just chilling. Food was good except for gravy served on top of prime rib, lamb shanks and chicken. Gravy really killed the ...

I received a somewhat free cruise from diamond resort for buying a sampler package. Although after upgrade paid around 800.00 for two of us. Obvious Decline Royal Caribbean Quality

Avoid this ship at all costs! Do not go on this cruise if you have kids or are under the age of 30. There are hardly any activities or entertainment on this cruise. And when there is, it is aimed at elders. After my last cruise in 2015 I 100% would have recommended Royal Caribbean to all my friends and family. But after this cruise, I would not. It is pretty obvious Royal Caribbean has been ...
