This was our first cruise, so we relied on reviews and friends' experiences to prepare us. The ship was very nice, and our deluxe balcony cabin was clean and comfortable. The staff was for the most part friendly and accommodating. The entertainment was excellent.

Embarcation was problem free for us. I like RCCI ships even the big ones and am a diamond member. The food was great and the service was too. One complaint I have is about the venue for Diamond and Diamond plus members. The room is tiny and there were 125 of these members on board. We chose this cruise because it sailed out of Tampa, which is convenient for us. We are also fans of Royal Caribbean. The Brilliance is a nice medium sized ship--not super huge, but certainly big enough.
