This cruise was filled with loud, drunk and rude passengers.

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

This cruise was a quick getaway with my Mom. We are both caregivers for many people and were hoping for relaxation. We booked the wrong cruise for that! Although, I did spend extra money to utilize the spa and was able to work out at the fitness center. These were the only peaceful places on the boat. Overall, the service on the boat was good, especially our stateroom attendant. She was ...

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. There's nothing more rejuvenating than a couple of sea days and when you surround Cozumel by them, you can almost guarantee a good result. We traveled with another couple (no children this time) and met up on board. Embarkation was easy - no waiting at all around noon. Cabins were ready as promised at 1 p.m. The dreaded safety drill was ...

This was nice but I much prefer the Oasis Class ships

Our group (6 ladies) decided a shorter, 5 day cruise would work best for all. We picked our cruise based on ports of call rather than the ship. We chose to book RC shore excursions rather than explore ourselves. GCM was a huge disappointment. The tour bus that brought us to the 7 Mile Beach excursion was crowded and not very comfortable but it was air conditioned. The space on the beach was ...

Celebrating a birthday in style

Celebrating a friend's milestone birthday! She cruises...a lot, and specifically wanted to try Royal Caribbean and it's ship, Brilliance of the Seas. Great experience...food, drink, cleanliness and friendliness of staff and crew. Only drawback was in exiting the ship...had to wait over an hour to disembark due to a computer failure. There were probably 500 people in a line that wound throughout ...

This was a nice ship. It is def not a newer ship but super clean and plenty to do. The pool does not allow swim my diapers so that was a disappointment. There is rock climbing, mini golf and a movie cinema. I have three kids 6, 2 and 12. They loved it. The room we had was on deck 7 with a balcony. It was small with our stroller and pack and play in the room but we managed. My next cruise I def ...

I took this cruise with family and friends.....12 in all. It was for my sons college spring break. I loved the amenities of having a suite such as Rafael the consierge and being able to go to the Consierge Club before dinner and mingling with other suite guests. Our cabin was roomy and comfortable. We went to Seven Mile Beach while in Grand Cayman. It was packed as there were 3 other ships at the ...

Short five night cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

Had a wonderful five night cruise aboard the Brilliance in February 2018. This was a restful and relaxing cruise. We avoided the pool deck and main dining room. Our idea of a great cruise is lots of visual access to the water and blue sky, and alone time as we have very social jobs back home. We bought the five night specialty restaurant package and ate twice in Chops, twice in Giovanni's, ...

Chose this cruise because of the unique length (5 days, which was long enough while still giving us the opportunity to spend a few days in Tampa and keep the whole vacation to a week) The boat was smaller than some of the behemoths out there but still very large. On a 5 day cruise, there were still parts of the ship we were discovering on the last day. It was also beautiful and unique with nice ...

This was our second time on the Brilliance of the Seas, and the ship felt like home. Not nearly as new or as big as the huge ships from RCI, but the Brilliance has its own charms. As the boat will be getting a facelift in Hamburg in April, there are some cosmetic blemishes here and there. But it is still a nice place to call home away from home for a five day cruise. The cabin itself was ...
