only reason we chose this cruise is to piggyback on friends' trip. Overall the trip was good, but could have been much better if systemic details were handled better. The ship was clean, the cabin and food staffs were excellent and attentive. The itinerary covered lovely cities and countryside and for the most part we had great weather.

This was our second time doing this itinerary and our third time on the Summit. We love the ship, the ports, and the wonderful crew We enjoyed the food in the MDR and the Oceanview Cafe. STATEROOM ~ First of all, our room ~ # 7080 with balcony ~ was conveniently located near the midship elevators but with no accompanying noise from them. Our balcony was unusual in that it was twice as large as most and in a triangular shape.
