Disappointed

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

After sailing Adventure of the Seas last year, we were expecting much of the same. Instead, the RC representative I spoke with prior to sailing was extremely rude and was talking over me and wanted to argue. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful to say the least. On board, we experienced obnoxious children in abundance running freely throughout the ship unsupervised, knocking on cabin ...

The boarding and disembarkation is well executed unfortunatley we did not have time to see Puerto Rico. Our cabin was quite nice loved the balcony and the staff overall is fabulous they go all out, there is lots to do onboard andI liked the itinerary we loved the ports of call especially St Kitts, Antigua, St. Lucia and Barbados but found the locals in Martinique to not always be too friendly. ...

Embarkation was smooth, we arrive at port around 1pm and in 20 minutes I was having my first drink of the cruise. View of our aft cabin 8690 was excellent and cabin was always in great shape and always clean, balcony was bigger than expected. Service on Main Dinning was superior to our expectation, waiter Saturnino and assistant Melvin on table 471 were always looking to fulfill our requirements ...

Great disappointment

Very disappointing cruise. RC really lowered their standards. We felt like we stayed at a cheap Motel. The couch in our room smelled terrible, was faded and stained. The carpet faded and wrinkled. The sheets thin and yellowed. Apparently Puerto Rican’s got a great deal with RC and their loyal high paying guests were used to subsidize their travel. Windjammer was filled with rude, loud groups ...

Great Cruise Energy All Around!

This cruise appealed to us because of it's intense port itinerary... and we were not disappointed! At first, we were a bit skeptical (we wanted to relax too of course!) bc of the limited number of sea days, but that was definitely not an issue. We've taken a lot of cruises and this was - hands down in our top 2/3. My husband and I (in our 30s) went with my parents... were there a lot of kids? Yes ...

This cruise was an anniversary trip for my husband and I . This was our second cruise aboard the Adventure of the Seas. Both trips we were impressed with the friendly staff, the layout of the ship, and the attention to detail throughout our cruises. The Adventure of the Seas is not the largest ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet but she is elegant. Our cabin was on deck 10 for this trip, we ...

We were there Thanksgiving Week so there were a lot of young families and, things were obviously geared toward them. Lots of teenagers and loud music which is not what I was looking for but just about everyone seemed to be having a good time. My only real complaint was with the food and service in the main dining room. The quality of the food was only so-so and the wait staff assigned to us ...

Nothing to write home about

First the bad: We discovered that they had subsidized the rooms out for the people affected by the hurricane that hit San Juan. This resulted in a very pro Hispanic/Puerto Rican cruise and a very full cruise. Obviously this had a cascading affect as people were always cutting in line, bumping into you, and otherwise crowded everywhere. Also, we had booked a junior suit room. The room ...

We choose this cruise for the great variety of things to do, get involve, and size. Also the thought of just relaxing if we chose to do with the live entertainment. The gym was excellent first thing then not feeling guilty above enjoying all the different food, somtimes the choices was so much I could not decide. The variety of food times was great and the cleanliness was very impressive with ...

Puerto Rico Mis-Adventure of the Seas

I wanted to write this review while my girlfriend and I were on the ship but decided to wait until it was over to give RC a fair review documenting every aspect of the cruise. We chose this specific cruise for two reasons. 1) The Itinerary 2) The time of year. Time of year is a critical choice as we prefer cruising during the school year when there are less children on board. We have sailed ...
