This cruise was within driving distance from our home. The ship is really nice . was newly refurbished and had a lot of up dates. We opted for the obstructed balcony room and it was really nice, we were in between 2 life boats so we could see all the way down to the ground. We never went to MDR so can not comment on it. We ate on lido and the food was good , pizza was good and deli also. Never ...
My wife and I LOVE to cruise, and take the opportunity any chance we get. This was our 7th cruise.
A little backstory...we've cruised on the the Crown Princess, got engaged on the Serenade of the Seas, got married on the Celebrity Eclipse, attended a friends wedding on the Carnival Liberty, liked Carnival enough to the sail the Carnival Splendor out of Florida, and liked that so much that we ...
We are a couple in our early 30s with a 4 year old. We arrived right at 1:30pm on the day of the cruise and it was a fairly simple process. If you drive, you pull up and drop off your suitcases (no need for everyone to get out of the car). Then you proceed to pay for the week to park and are directed to a parking spot. After walking inside with our carry on luggage, it took about 1 hr and 15 min ...
We chose Carnival Pride out of the Port of Baltimore because we are able to drive from Pennsylvania.
Parking was $120 for 8 days and lot is secured.
The cruise director was Steve Kinsley and he provided fun activities throughout the cruise.
He was very helpful and friendly any time I had contact with him or when I observed him with other passengers and the crew.
Food is plentiful and ...
This was our 5th time on the Pride. We love the layout of the ship, the ease of departure, and it's only a two hour ride from our house, so no airfare.
We went to Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Nassau. The weather was perfect, and the only excursion we did was to a private beach in Nassau, which was wonderful. There was a 35 minute boat ride to Balmoral Island and once you got off, there were ...
I was expecting to have something, anything even just a little thing to complain about. Carnival left me with nothing but positive things to say, and I will be back on board the Pride in 2018. Never have I been to a facility that was kept so meticulously clean, morning noon and night staff is out and about ensuring everything is in perfect condition. embarking and disembarking I thought for sure ...
The room stew was excellent, our room was always clean, neat and in order. He always called us by our name when he saw us either in the hall or near our room.
MDR dinning had changed because it went to American table, alot of the staff seemed new, so service took quite a bit of time to get through. Several evenings we were rushed to get to get to shows because of service being slow.
The ...
Carnival Pride Buffet was excellent. Always fresh food lots of choices. Guys burgers are the best I have had at sea. I cruised 8 times and those are good burgers. Also the Mexican food buffet area was very good. They had deli, American food and for me my espresso bar which was all I needed to compliment the good buffet & breakfast. Breakfast included omelets and everything-else to make your ...
plenty of things to do to pass the time when sailing. Carnival did a great job of providing options for people of all ages at all times during the day and night. We visited Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Nassau. Bring about $100 per day in cash and expect to accrue/spend at least $1000 for two people, for drinks and some meals on elegant night. You're limited to 2 bags per person so pack ...
We are a couple 68 years old and retired. We chose this cruise because we could drive to Baltimore. It was a 31/2 hour drive from Gloucester, Va. We went to Baltimore a day early and stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn ,Arundel Mills.
We arrived at the cruise port at approx. 11:30 am and were on board by 1:00 pm, ate a good burger at Guy's and then went to our cabin. Our luggage arrived by 4:00 ...
