We first flew from Melbourne to Sydney and stayed in the Rendevous Hotel at The Rocks, we much preferred the rooms with the view over the Harbor (You can watch the ship come in) to the older style terrace homes! Both our embarkation and disembarkation both went really smoothly, although I was extremely anxious to board as this was my first ever cruise :) .
I found the ship to be well ...
24/5/2016 Just got back from the Carnival Spirit Fiji trip, Isle of Pines, Mystery island, Suva,Port Danarau, Noumea.
The best holiday we have ever had. The level of crew professionalism and service is first class, the food and entertainment superb, and the entire experience left us wanting to come back again. 900 crew comprised of over 60 nationalities supporting a passenger group comprising ...
Short break.
As expected, crew was friendly and efficient. Use of passenger name in conversation is a nice touch that pervades interactions.
The refresher intent of the cruise was marred by unsupervised children in the Lido dining areas, running the corridors and stairs. Additionally, the location of this cabin adjacent to one with a double plus bunk layout that makes children next door an ...
We went on this cruise mainly to see if our first impressions of the Carnival Spirit from last year were the same and I'm pleased to say that,if anything, we loved the cruise, the ship, even better this time. The only criticism we have is smoking on the same deck as the walking track. We all want to get fit and healthy and it seemed odd to us why they chose this deck to put all the ashtrays. ...
Hi,
Just some word of advice, you need to be very careful before you decide to cruise with Carnival. The Spirit is in poor shape, in cabin furniture falling apart, gym equipment not working, mini golf course in tatters, broken doors and glass.
Be careful if your intending to bring a bottle of Alcohol along, it was my Wife's birthday and we intended to celebrate on board with a bottle of ...
I was initially hesitant at booking a cruise on a ship noted for young families. I can honestly say it was one of the best cruises I have ever done. The children were well controlled until the last night when they started to run about but on the whole they were well mannered and quiet.
The ship was fantastic. We were booked into a Balcony Stateroom but were upgraded to an Ocean Suite on Deck 6 ...
I thought I'd take the time to write a decent review of the carnival cruise (spirit) liner considering I struggled so hard to find one before our trip.
All communication with carnival was efficient prior to our trip and we were well informed with all guidelines, requirements, 'what to pack' and time schedules etc. Boarding the cruise was as described and easily done, with a little wait of ...
We are family of 4 with 2 kids (they are 4 and 7) and we went on Carnival Spirit during April 2016 for a 10 day trip to South Pacific Islands including Lifou Isle, Mystery Island, Mare and Noumea. This is our first time to go on a cruise ship, so we do not know what to expect.
Embarkment: it went very smoothly, we just need to book a time for embarkment online when we did check-in online and I ...
A family of 6 and never having been on a holiday before, we chose a cruise because it looked like a lot of fun.
Our cabins were midships, 2 ocean suites with balconies and I have to say, the little bit extra that we paid for a balcony was well worth it. Especially each morning when you looked out of your sliding door and the beautiful Pacific Ocean greeted you bathed in sunlight. The beds were ...
We decided to try Carnival Spirit as the sailing fell into our annual leave time frame, WELL! What a huge mistake!
We have sailed before many times on RCI and Princess, so we are comparing Carnival to these lines.
Before even stepping on board we where given "lip" by one of the ships photographers all because we didn't want our photo taken at that particular moment in time. This incident ...
