We to cruise in early Dec to relax between the holidays. This cruise was a quiet and peaceful trip as they normally are for us this time of year. Food was good everywhere we ate and we enjoyed the new to us Chopsticks. Only one slow night in MDR, first formal night, which can be expected. The service was good everywhere onboard esp. our stateroom attendant . Only complaint we heard was about the ...
Itinerary, excursions and service were wonderful. The cruise was worth every penny but there were some issues.
Cruises on carnival in the past featured high quality food and great social times in the main dining room. Post Covid, apparently very few people sit with other guests in the main dining room.
Best food, therefore, was being offered in the buffet, steakhouse, chefs table, blue ...
We decided on this cruise because it was going to Puerto Rico (one of our favorites) and we had never been to Grand Turk. We enjoyed our wait and housekeeping staff as they were all very friendly and helpful. Very much enjoyed the rock shows and the getaway island show. Comedians were so/so. Movie nights were nice with a great selection of movies.
The one thing that really bothered us is they ...
We cruise every Halloween (and then some) and can always find something to eat that is different and nice. Not this time. We are easy to please, but....this was bad. I heard so many people making the same comments that I am leaving here, it was a common theme!
The bad: The food was not good The "buffet" was extremely limited - and recycled. I know its a small ship but having 5 items is just ...
We originally booked this cruise for a group of 10 pre covid that was rescheduled 4 times. We were traveling from literally all over the world and were supposed to be on Carnival Freedom but Carnival changed our ship about 3 moths prior to the cruise.
We had last sailed on spirit in Australia in December 2019 and enjoyed the ship/entertainment and crew, but unfortunately it appears that ...
Do not cruise this ship. Did the 8 day East Caribbean cruise. Bad communication and terrible Customer service overall. The HUB stinks. It did not work all the time. You have to rely on the HUB and it does not have everything you need on it. If you are Diamond, good Luck getting information. It"s not there. There were very few activities during sea days. Very boring ship even in ...
We enjoy taking the end of the season cruises. Usually the crowds aren't as large and the temperature is nice.
We have been on several cruise lines and have always preferred Carnival. But, our recent cruise to Alaska was very disappointing.
CARNIVAL HUB APPLICATION:
This application is frustrating to use. I could not stay connected to the Wi-Fi, and had to log in each time to use it. ...
This was my 3rd cruise with carnival, it was a matter of timing, budget and location. The staff was great especially erin. the only complaint for staff would be one cook at blue iguana...more to come on that. highlights would simply be alaska itself. this was my first ever visit there.....awe inspiring. especially the glacier tour at tracy fjord. and the fact that the area had rain for weeks ...
My family decided a cool weather getaway from the desert heat was a great idea. So, Alaska here we come on the Carnival Spirit. I must say I was quite disappointed with the ship. Ok, we last sailed on the Carnival Panorama, which is an amazing ship and I am not trying to compare the two. The Carnival Spirit has an inconsistent, indecisive décor. Art Deco meets Old Masters meets Greek ...
July Seattle to Alaska Cruise, purchase through Costco.
This proved not to be a good experience for me or my teenage daughters. The food was fine, and was the main "activity" on this boat. There are two water slides, which the girls tried day one before leaving Seattle. They had to butt scoot. They don't really slide. Then otherwise too cold to use. Main pool area has smoking section. ...
