Worst cabin ever: small, shoddy, very very noisy, hot water not always available. Nice ship overall, good food in the main dining room and also the buffet, but nothing could make up for the cabin we were given. Customer service people on the ship suggested that some compensation, such as a credit on a future cruise, would be provided, but no such compensation was received. Also my ...
We had been to Hawaii 4 years ago and did this cruise on the Rhapsody, so wanted to do it again. There was a bit of a delay getting on the ship with long lineups for each C&A category. Our inside cabin was mid ship and 3rd level which we picked in case the 5 sea days were rough (which they were not). This was our 3rd time on this ship and 2nd since its last refit, so no surprises.

This is our first time cruising with RCI and the 2nd cruise for most in our group. We travelled with our 3 children aged 15, 13 and 9 years and the children's grandmothers. We absolutely loved this cruise and cannot speak highly enough about it.
I loved the itinerary - the ports we visited were all fantastic. The entertainment was top notch - there was a different show on every night ...
We chose this particular cruise as it left from Sydney, Australia. We had both wanted to see Australia and this was a way to see just a small potion of Australia with a cruise to other destinations thrown in as well. New Zealand, French Polynesia, and ending in Hawaii. With the idea of staying in Hawaii for several days. It would be three vacations rolled into one big trip.
Our stay in Sydney ...
My husband had always wanted to visit Australia and the itinerary for this cruise sounded perfect for us. We spent a week in Australia prior to sailing, with the last two days being in Sydney. Overall wonderful trip! The staff on the ship could not have been nicer or more helpful. Their service was outstanding. The entertainment and activities were up to our expectations and one was a real ...
Embarked in Sydney for a 6 day Australia/Tasmania cruise, followed with a back to back 18 day cruise to New Zealand, French Polynesia with disembarkation in Hawaii. The ports of call were wonderful and we enjoyed every one of them. The ship and the way our concerns were met was another story all together. We had booked this cruise the previous year while on the Quantum and had received onboard ...
I'm glad they are putting the Radiance of the Sea to dry dock. It need some sweet loving care.
We toured around the top end of Australia. Australia is known for crayfish (lobster) and yet, we were not offered surf or turf or beef Wellington in the main dining. If you wanted anything like that you needed to order through speciality restaurants.
The wifi costs $270 US dollars for a 16 ...
Recently completed a Top End Australia 16 night cruise on the Radiance of the Seas. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. The staff were good in all areas and we made some good friends and met some nice people, included some CC roll call members with whom we enjoyed a day out.
The itinerary was good with the exception of Port Hedland which was of little interest to most people and had ...
My wife and I have just returned from the above cruise and wish to make the following observations and conclusions. We are seasoned cruises having sailed with other companies and thoroughly enjoyed our holidays. I cannot understand why the pricing policy is so unfair so much so that I got the immediate impression of being ripped off at every hands turn.
I feel that in today's world ...
The Cruise on Royal Caribbean Radiance of the Seas in general was good. Our cabin 3528 was a good size although the bathroom, and certainly the shower could have been bigger. There were no toiletries in the cabin, only given to passengers who had travelled with them many times before. However, when we asked our cabin attendant Bernardo for toiletries we had them immediately. The ship is old and ...
