Wanted to do the far east,thought this was the cruise,arrived hong Kong 9 a m, (no rooms until after 1 PM) 12hour flight be aware.upgraded to aqua ,with what thought the extras. We had a great cruise ports were amazing
Halong Bay was the only tender port get in line early if you have independent tour .
Visa are taken care of by ship , yes you have to surrender your passport , yes you need a photocopy of your passport .
We did all independent tour and had lots of fun

We chose this trip primarily for the itinerary and also because we had enjoyed our prior experiences with Celebrity on trips to Alaska (Mercury) and the Baltics (Constellation). The itinerary certainly was as advertised, but - fair warning - many of the ports are a long way (2 to 3 hour drive) from the cities you want to visit. However they were worth the effort to get there.

We wanted a try a different cruise line and go a bit more upmarket - what a shock! The cruise was neither luxury nor modern. We chose this for the destination ports. This was our first trip with Celebrity but not our first cruise. The logistical arrangements were virtually flawless. Flights, transfers, pre and post cruise hotels very good, shore excursions mostly excellent, staff and officers on board very good and the entertainment was varied and impressive (mostly).
