I chose this cruise because of the itinerary and the cost and especially because of the open bar. However, I did have to pay premium prices for the single malt scotch that I prefer.

I went on this cruise as part of a group celebrating a friend's birthday. This was my first cruise experience and doubt I will ever do it again. The ship is very dated and desperately needs an upgrade. Fabric on chairs in the lounges look dirty, the main dinning room is decorated circa late 70's early 80's pink...think back to the movie Scarface.

Never cruised with NCL before, usually Royal Caribbean or Celebrity so wasn't quite sure what to expect. The Sky is an older ship without the bells and whistles of the newer ships and it did show its age in places, but it was very clean and offered enough to do for a 3 night cruise.
